Display rack

A product dispenser of the type for dispensing cards having products encapsulated thereon has a dispensing section and supports a retaining element at a fixed position relative to the dispensing section, whereby only a fixed quantity of cards can be easily removed from the product dispenser to avoid pilferage and the like as might occur by removing more than the fixed quantity of cards.

An adjustable tilt construction for a toothbrush display rack. The rear wall of the rack is provided with one or more T slots, each slot receiving one of two parallel flanges of a respective leg, said leg being generally H shaped in transverse cross section over at least a portion of its length. One flange of each leg is shorter than the other, and is asymmetrically located with respect to it so as to yield two different distances from the ends of the shorter flange to respective ends of the longer flange. This leg configuration permits three different leg heights by inserting each leg into a respective slot in three different ways. In turn, this permits three different tilt angles for the display rack. Each leg has at least one end having biased edges which releasably frictionally fit into the T shaped slots on the rear wall of the rack. The leg and slot configuration may also be used on any member to provide height adjustment.

A cylindrical drum has correlated information stored thereon in circumferentially extending longitudinally spaced rows. The drum is rotatably disposed within an open cylinder and the cylinder has windows longitudinally spaced therealong so as to correspond to the longitudinal spacing of the rows. The drum is attached to knobs which are integral with end caps for closing the cylinder, and when the drum is rotated via the knobs the information on the drum is accessed and is visible through the windows in the cylinder.

An adjustable tilt construction for a display rack. The rear wall of the rack is provided with one or more T slots, each slot receiving one of the two parallel flanges of a respective leg, the latter generally H shaped in transverse cross section over at least a portion of its length. One flange of each leg is shorter than the other, and is asymmetrically located with respect to it so as to yield two different distances from the ends of the shorter flange to respective ends of the longer flange. This leg configuration permits three different leg heights by inserting each leg into a respective slot in three different ways. In turn, this permits three different tilt angles for the display rack. The leg and slot configuration may also be used on a table to provide height adjustment, the legs and slots operating in the same manner as in the display rack.

A product card dispensing rack includes a plurality of product card dispensers which are flexurally secured at one end to the back of the rack. The front of the rack includes a door having a plurality of ledge members which normally cover the other end of the dispensers when the door is closed. Product cards disposed on the dispensers are removed from the rack by a purchaser or the like grasping a product card and exerting a downward force thereon, whereupon the other end of the dispenser is displaced away from the ledge member and exposed so that the card is displaced along the dispenser and removed therefrom at its other end. The door is opened for reloading the dispensers with product cards. The closed door may be locked for security purposes.
