A damping force variable type shock absorber includes: a piston rod reciprocating within the cylinder; a piston valve connected to the piston rod to partition the cylinder into a compression chamber and a rebound chamber; a housing including an auxiliary chamber communicating with a connection passage penetrating an inside of the piston rod in a longitudinal direction of the piston rod, the housing being connected to a lower portion of the piston valve and forming an auxiliary passage connected to the compression chamber disposed thereunder; a first damping unit disposed in an upper side of the auxiliary chamber to form a first bypass passage communicating the connection passage with the auxiliary passage in a zigzag form, the first damping unit allowing a deformation according to a flow of a working fluid in a predetermined speed section; a second damping unit accommodated in the auxiliary chamber and disposed under the first damping unit to form a second bypass passage connected to the first bypass passage, the second damping unit allowing a deformation according to the flow of the working fluid in a predetermined speed section; and a seal unit accommodated in the auxiliary chamber and disposed under the first damping unit to vertically support the second damping unit. Accordingly, it is possible to improve ride comfort by bypassing the working fluid while allowing a deformation along the flow of the working fluid in a predetermined speed section.

Damping force variable type shock absorber

The present invention relates to a body valve assembly for a shock absorber, which is capable of improving ride comfort by improving the degree of freedom of the adjustment in damping force and preventing the damping force from being rapidly changed.

Body valve assembly for shock absorber

A frequency sensitive type shock absorber is provided. A housing has a bypass hole formed such that an upper portion of a chamber part is opened to connect to the opening, and a lower portion of the chamber part communicates with the compression chamber. A spool is formed within the chamber part and is elevated by a fluid flowing into the chamber part. A pair of partition members partitions the chamber part into upper and lower chambers and provides a restoring force to the spool. A guide member is formed between the pair of the partition members, has a elastic force, and guides the partition members to maintain positions thereof. A pair of elastic members is formed in the upper and lower chambers to prevent a fluid from penetrating between the pair of the partition members and the side of the chamber part, and assist a restoration of the partition members by elasticity.

Frequency sensitive type shock absorber

Provided is a frequency-sensitive shock absorber, which includes a cylinder filled with a working fluid and a piston rod having one end disposed inside the cylinder and the other end extending to the outside of the cylinder. The frequency-sensitive shock absorber includes a main piston valve assembly and an auxiliary piston valve assembly. The auxiliary piston valve assembly includes: a spool unit configured to open or close a communication passage for communicating a rebound chamber with a compression chamber while moving within a housing; and upper and lower support members configured to support the spool unit. The upper and lower support members have protrusions protruding toward the spool unit, respectively, and as the spool unit moves, the communication passage is closed when the protrusions of the upper and lower support members contact the spool unit.

Frequency-sensitive shock absorber

A shock absorber is provided. A first piston, a pilot valve, a second piston, and a rebound retainer are sequentially connected to a piston rod reciprocating within a cylinder. An upper portion of the second piston is provided inside the first piston. Due to a first compression chamber formed in the first piston, a second compression chamber formed in the second piston, a third compression chamber formed between the first piston and the second piston, and a fourth compression chamber formed in the rebound retainer, it is possible to improve a ride comfort by reducing a damping force over periods from an ultra-low-speed period to a high-speed period and it is possible to achieve the compact configuration and the cost reduction by reducing the overall length of the processing portion.

Shock absorber

Disclosed is a fluid encapsulating apparatus and method. The apparatus includes a fluid injection nozzle for injecting gas and oil into a tube of the shock absorber through a fluid injection aperture formed in the tube; a position securing mechanism supporting a seal unit of the shock absorber at a certain position in cooperation with a supporter provided to a piston rod of the shock absorber during oil injection; and a seal securing mechanism sealingly securing the seal unit after injection of the gas and oil. Shock absorbers manufactured thereby are also disclosed.
