A scan reset control circuit includes a single scan reset input configured to receive a reset signal, a plurality of scan reset outputs configured to be coupled to a plurality of circuit blocks in a one-to-one ratio, a plurality of writable non-scan test data registers including register outputs configured to assert or deassert the reset signal, and a plurality of reset enable circuits coupled to the plurality of scan reset outputs in a one-to-one ratio. Each of the scan reset outputs is configured to simultaneously reset a set of scan flip-flops of the corresponding circuit block. Each of the plurality of reset enable circuits includes an input coupled to the single scan reset input, a selector input coupled to the register outputs, and an output coupled to the corresponding scan reset output.

The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media that generates a modified digital image with a modified rendering order of objects within a digital image. For instance, the disclosed systems generate, in response to an input indicating a selected region of a digital image, an object mask for a first object located at least partially within the selected region of the digital image and further generate a vectorized object mask including a boundary of the first object from the object mask. The disclosed systems determine an overlapping region of the vectorized object mask with the selected region and an additional vectorized object mask. The disclosed systems generate a modified digital image by modifying a rendering order of a portion of the first object corresponding to the selected region and a portion of a second object overlapping the portion of the first object within the selected region.

Modifying digital images via adaptive rendering order of image objects

In implementations of systems for visual reordering of partial vector objects, a computing device implements an order system to receive input data describing a region specified relative to a group of vector objects that includes a portion of a first vector object and a portion of second vector object. A visual order as between the portion of the first vector object and the portion of the second vector object within the region is determined. The order system computes a modified visual order as between the portion of the first vector object and the portion of the second vector object within the region based on the visual order. The order system generates the group of vector objects for display in a user interface using a render surface and a sentinel value to render pixels within the region in the modified visual order.

Visual reordering of partial vector objects

In implementations of systems for efficiently generating blend objects, a computing device implements a blending system to assign unique shape identifiers to objects included in an input render tree. The blending system generates a shape mask based on the unique shape identifiers. A color of a pixel of a blend object is computed based on particular objects of the objects that contribute to the blend object using the shape mask. The blending system generates the blend object for display in a user interface based on the color of the pixel.

Digital representation techniques of intertwined vector objects are described. These techniques support a non-destructive representation of intertwined digital objects. Additionally, these techniques support editing of overlaps to change a visual ordering in an intuitive and efficient manner. Optimization operations are also implemented that remove redundancy, combine overlaps into a single representation, address visual artifacts at borders between the intertwined objected, and so forth.

Embodiments are disclosed for interlacing vector objects. A method of interlacing vector objects may include receiving a selection of a first vector object of an image. The method may further include detecting a second vector object of the image, wherein the second vector object is different than the first vector object. The method may further include determining a first depth position for the first vector object and a second depth position for the second vector object. The method may further include interlacing the second vector object and the first vector object, wherein interlacing comprises drawing the first vector object based on the first depth position and the second vector object based on the second depth position.

Partial depth ordering with vector interlacing

Graphics processing unit instancing control techniques are described that overcome conventional challenges to expand functionality made available via a graphics processing unit. In one example, these techniques support ordering of primitives within respective instances of a single draw call made to a graphics processing unit. This is performed by ordering primitives within respective instances that correspond to polygons for rendering. The ordering of the primitives overcomes limitations of conventional techniques and reduces visual artifacts through support of correct overlaps and z-ordering of instances.

In implementations of systems for efficient rendering of clipping objects, a computing device implements a clipping system to generate a clipping tree that includes a root node and a node for each clipping group included in a layer of an input render tree. The clipping system generates a segment buffer having rows that each represent coverage of a branch of the clipping tree and columns that each represent coverage of a level of the clipping tree. The segment buffer is mapped to two-dimensional array, and the clipping system computes coverage for a clipping object of a clipping group included in the layer of the input render tree based on an identifier of a row of the two-dimensional array.

Embodiments are disclosed for identifying and generating symmetrical repeat edits to similar objects in an image. A selection of a first object and an edit to the first object in an image is received. The image is searched for a plurality of candidate objects that have a similar shape to the first object and the plurality of candidate objects are filtered to include one or more objects that are symmetrical with the first object. A symmetric object is selected from the plurality of candidate objects. An axis of symmetry is computed between the symmetric object and the first object. The edit is applied to the symmetric object and to the first object.

Generating symmetrical repeat edits for images

In implementations of systems for generating anti-aliased vector objects, a computing device implements an anti-aliasing system to receive input data describing a Bezier curve of a vector object. The anti-aliasing system generates an aliased curve by rasterizing the Bezier curve in a pixel space having pixels including intersected pixels that are intersected by the aliased curve and non-intersected pixels that are not intersected by the aliased curve. The anti-aliasing system segments the pixels into segments in a virtual space, and the segments have a higher density than the pixels. An intersected segment is identified that is intersected by a portion of the aliased curve in the virtual space. The anti-aliasing system determines a winding number for the intersected segment and generates a portion of an anti-aliased curve for display in a user interface by applying a color value to a coverage mask for an intersected pixel of the pixels.

Systems for generating anti-aliased vector objects

In implementations of context-based copy-paste systems, a computing device implements a context system to receive input data describing a selection of a vector object. The context system detects vicinity vector objects based on a bounding box of the vector object and bounding boxes of the vicinity vector objects. A transformation is identified based on similarities between the vicinity vector objects and target vector objects. The context system generates a modified vector object for display in a user interface by transforming the vector object using the transformation and reproducing the transformed vector object relative to a particular target vector object of the target vector objects.

Context-based copy-paste systems

Embodiments are disclosed for text-aware application of a color gradient to text characters. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods comprise receiving an input including a set of text characters in a first layout, determining a first text path of the set of text characters in the first layout, mapping the set of text characters from the first layout to a second layout, wherein the set of text characters in the second text path are aligned along a coordinate axis, applying a linear color gradient across the mapped set of text characters in the second layout, reverse mapping the set of text characters with the applied linear color gradient from the second layout to the first layout, and outputting the set of text characters in the first layout with the applied linear color gradient from the second layout based on the reverse mapping.

Advanced application of color gradients to text

Curve antialiasing based on curve-pixel intersection is leveraged in a digital medium environment. For instance, to apply antialiasing according to techniques described herein, curves of a visual object are mapped from an original pixel space to a virtual pixel space. Virtual pixels of the virtual pixel space that are intersected by the mapped curves are identified and aggregated as intersected virtual pixels. The intersected virtual pixels are then mapped back into the original pixel space to identify which intersected virtual pixels positionally coincide with respective original pixels of the original pixel space. Intersected virtual pixels are mapped to original pixels to generate pixel coverage for original pixels. The generated pixel coverage values for original pixels are applied to render antialiased curves as part of an antialiased version of the original visual object.

Methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable storage media are disclosed for utilizing a central processing unit to generate a compressed multi-vertex buffer to include rendering data from tessellated geometry of a two-dimensional vector graphic for rendering the two-dimensional vector graphic via a GPU rendering pipeline. For example, the disclosed system generates an expanded geometry for control triangles within the tessellated geometry based on an anti-aliasing direction. The disclosed system generates multi-vertex buffer entries including vertex locations and visual attributes (e.g., color, primitive type, anti-aliasing direction, stroke width) of the vector paths corresponding to each triangle in the tessellated geometry. Furthermore, the disclosed system renders the two-dimensional vector graphic by passing the rendering data stored in the compressed multi-vertex buffer to the graphics processing unit in a manner that the graphics processing unit is able to process.

Dynamic spread anti-aliasing is described. In some embodiments, a filled object is segmented into control tiles. Along the object border, multiple exterior control tiles respectively correspond to multiple curves forming the border. For each curve, one side is filled and the other is anti-aliased to smooth the appearance of the filled object. Each exterior control tile is expanded to create an expanded control tile having a spread zone that includes additional pixels. For example, a control triangle is transformed into a control rectangle, and the control rectangle is enlarged to create an expanded control rectangle by extending an edge outward and away from the curve on the side to be anti-aliased. The additional pixels of the spread zone are subjected to anti-aliasing, such as by applying alpha modulation to the pixels based on respective distances between the pixels and the curve. For subpixel zoom levels, pixel color can be adjusted.
