Methods and apparatus for implementing a circuit capable of operating as a passive power divider or combiner are described. In at least some embodiments multiple modes of operation are supported with one of the modes being a mode in which power is not communicated along one of the paths in the circuit, e.g., because the path leads to an inactive component or element. The methods and apparatus are well suited for use in communications devices and/or transceiver circuits. The passive nature of the power combiner/divider allows the device in some embodiments to act as a power divider when signals pass through the circuit in a first direction, e.g., during a transmit mode of operation, and to act as a power combiner when signals pass through the circuit in the other direction, e.g., during a receive mode of operation.

Reconfigurable power divider/combiner

Provided methods and systems allow dynamic rendering of a reflexive questionnaire based on a modifiable spreadsheet for users with little to no programming experience and knowledge. Some methods comprise receiving a modifiable spreadsheet with multiple rows, each row comprising rendering instructions for a reflexive questionnaire from a first computer, such as a data type cell, statement cell, logic cell, and a field identifier; rendering a graphical user interface, on a second computer, comprising a label and an input element corresponding to the rendering instructions of a first row of the spreadsheet; receiving an input from the second computer; evaluating the input against the logic cell of the spreadsheet; in response to the input complying with the logic cell of the spreadsheet, dynamically rendering a second label and a second input element to be displayed on the graphical user interface based on the logic of the first row.

Systems, devices, and methods for software coding

Methods and apparatus for implementing a power amplifier circuit assembly an uneven power splitter which feeds two power amplifiers of different amplifier classes are described. By supplying different amounts of power to different amplifier circuits having different performance curves, an overall combined amplifier performance having a relatively uniform, e.g., flat, performance curve over a wide range of frequencies is achieved. In at least some embodiments one of the amplifiers is a class B power amplifier and the other amplifier is a class C power amplifier. In some but not necessarily all embodiments a phase shift is introduced on a signal path to one of the power amplifiers to compensate for a difference in phase shifts introduced by the power amplifiers which are used in parallel.

Methods and apparatus for supporting linearization on power combined power amplifiers

Methods and apparatus for implementing an arrangement of antennas in an apparatus are described. The combining of antennas and related components using Ball Grid Array (BGA) technology and various spacing/heat routing techniques allows for a group of antennas and related ICs to be implemented as a printed circuit board mountable package. Multiple antenna packages can be mounted on a printed circuit board to allow for different numbers of antennas to be included in a device depending on communications needs. The antenna package is well suited for mm-wave applications.

Methods and apparatus for implementing antenna assemblies and/or combining antenna assemblies to form arrays

Methods and apparatus for implementing a phase shifter in a space, e.g., chip surface area, efficient manner is described. In various embodiments a combination of switches, capacitors and a transformer are used in combination as a controllable phase shifter. In some embodiments the phase shifter supports a phase shift of 0 degrees or 180 degrees depending on the position of one or more switches. The mutual inductance of the transformer in at least some embodiments emulates one or more capacitors in a phase shift network making for an implementation that can be implemented on a semiconductor in an area efficient manner as compared to implementations using more capacitors and independent inductors.

Systems and methods for reflexive questionnaire generation using a spreadsheet

Methods and apparatus for implementing a repeater are described. In various embodiments the repeater determines uplink/downlink timing information either from information broadcast from a base station or from monitoring received signals and/or gaps between received signals. In various embodiments while the repeater may decode control information to determine uplink/downlink time periods, user data is not decoded and re-encoded. In various embodiments interference between uplink and downlink circuitry is reduced or minimized by controlling gains, combining weights and/or power to amplifiers in the repeater based on the mode of operation. A stored information can include sets of different weights and/or parameters for the mode of operation and/or beam forming antenna pattern in use at a given time.

Repeater methods and apparatus

A method comprises retrieving a file comprising a parent worksheet comprising a first row comprising a first statement, a first data type identifier, and a first logic; in response to receiving a first rendering request from a client computing device, generating a child worksheet in the spreadsheet comprising a second row, wherein the second row inherits the first row; receiving a second request to modify at least one of the first statement in the second statement cell, the first data type identifier in the second data type cell, or the first logic in the second logic cell; and rendering a graphical user interface based on the modified child worksheet.

Methods and systems described herein allow dynamic rendering of a reflexive questionnaire based on a modifiable spreadsheet for users with little to no programming experience and knowledge. The method and system allow retrieving a spreadsheet to generate a dynamic and reflexive graphical user interface and to pre-populate one or more input elements within the reflexive graphical user interface based on user information retrieved from a disparate data source, where the spreadsheet may be configured for a worksheet inheritance or where the worksheet may be accessed through a check-in/check-out functionality.

Methods and apparatus for selecting a beam mode and/or beam for communicating with one or more devices are described. The beam mode selection may be and sometimes is between a broad beam mode of operation and a narrow beam mode of operation with respect to a particular device. Communication with one or more device may happen at a given time with the preferred beam mode and/or choice for an individual device sometimes being replaced with a beam mode and/or beam choice which is preferable from an overall system perspective, e.g., because it allows data transmission and/QoS requirements to multiple devices to be supported better than would be achieved if the preferred beam mode and/or beam selection made with respect to an individual device was used. The beam mode and/or beam selected for traffic data communication sometimes is different from the beam mode and/or beam used for communicating control channel information.

A method comprising displaying a first GUI to a first client comprising an option to check-out and a check-in a spreadsheet comprising at least one row comprising a statement a statement, a data type identifier, and a logic; checking-out the file such that the file cannot be modified by a second client; receiving from the first client, a modification request and a modification input; modifying the checked-out spreadsheet based on the modification input; checking-in the file; generating a set of rendering instructions corresponding to a second GUI based on the modified spreadsheet; and transmitting the set of rendering instructions to a computing device associated with a third client, whereby the set of rendering instructions causes the computing device associated with the third client to display the second graphical user interface.
