A computing device includes at least one camera system. When the camera application is running, the scene from the at least one camera system is analyzed to identify one or more barcodes in the scene. In some situations, multiple barcodes encoding payment links are identified in the scene. In such situations, for each of the multiple barcodes encoding payment links, the barcode is displayed along with the payment link encoded in the barcode and a description of the payment link (e.g., a name of the digital wallet corresponding to the payment link). Various additional information to help the user select one of the payment links may also be displayed, such as a current balance in the digital wallet corresponding to the payment link, rewards for using the digital wallet, discounts for using the digital wallet, and so forth.

Facilitating user selection of one of multiple barcodes in a camera system field of view

Techniques for managing data transactions are described and are implementable to enable data transactions (e.g., payment transactions) to be automatically generated in response to different conditions. In implementations, user interactions to generate payment transactions are tracked at different locations over different time durations. Accordingly, when payment transactions at a particular location reach a threshold, a data transaction record can be generated. The data transaction record can be used to automatically generate subsequent data transactions. Further, application presence across different devices can be used to generate data transactions.

Managing data transactions

A method provides techniques for emoji management for electronic messaging. The message includes detecting, by a processor of an electronic device, selection of an emoji for sending within a message. A recipient is identified for the message. The method further includes determining one or more attributes that can be associated with the emoji, and retrieving at least one of a recipient emoji reception preference and a sender emoji transmission preference for the one or more attributes. The emoji is modified based on the one or more attributes corresponding to the at least one of the recipient emoji reception preference and the sender emoji transmission preference. The method continues with transmitting the message with the modified emoji to the recipient.

Emoji management for electronic messaging

A computing device includes multiple camera systems each having one or both of a different field of view or a focus range. For example, the computing device may include a telephoto camera system, a wide angle camera system, an ultra-wide angle camera system, and a macro camera system. When a camera application is running, the scenes from each of the multiple cameras are automatically analyzed to determine whether a barcode (e.g., a 1-dimensional barcode or a 2-dimensional barcode, also referred to as a QR code) is included in one of the scenes. If a barcode is included in the scene from a particular camera system, that camera system is selected and one or more actions are taken (e.g., the barcode is displayed by the computing device, information embedded in the barcode is displayed, and so forth).
