Disclosed herein is a method and system for establishing secure communication between a terminal device and a target system. The method comprises validating the terminal device and the target system based on a communication request received from the terminal device. Upon validation, the terminal device is signaled to generate a Quick Response (QR) code corresponding to the communication request. Subsequently, the QR code generated at the terminal device is processed using a predetermined verification interface configured in a user device for establishing the secure communication between the terminal device and the target system. In an embodiment, the present disclosure helps users in completing a transaction based on the QR code generated at the terminal device, and thereby eliminates requirement of using a credit card/debit card and the like for completing the transaction.

Method and system for establishing secure communication between terminal device and target system

An aspect of the present invention provides for capturing of audit trail data related to processing of requests. In an embodiment, the received requests are classified into a first category and a second category. For each request in the first category, the corresponding audit trail data is stored directly into non-volatile storage upon processing of the request. On the other hand, for each request in the second category, the audit trail data is first stored into a volatile memory upon processing of the request, and then later copied from the volatile memory to non-volatile storage. Thus, the audit trail data corresponding to both categories of requests is eventually available stored on non-volatile storage.

Convenient approach for managing records with respect to entities based on file plans. In an embodiment, historical data representing policies previously selected is maintained. The historical data is then used to generate custom file plans containing policies most likely to be used by a corresponding user. A list in such custom file plan may have more relevant policies prioritized higher. A user may thus conveniently select a desired policy, and associate the selected policy with a set of entities to cause the selected policies to be applied against management of the set of entities.

A plurality of access requests may be received from a plurality of remote computer systems to a plurality of business entities stored by a content management server. A response from the content management server may be received in response to the identifier request. A resource locator that comprises the identifier may be created. The resource locator may be transmitted to the remote computer system for use in accessing the business entity.

The computer is usable to perform one or more operations on one or more contents items stored in the content repository, and when an operation is performed on a content item, audit data is captured related to the operation. The content usage analyzer is configured to identify an idle content item within the content repository based on the captured audit data.
