A system and method for mitigating self-interference in mmWave systems. A transceiver can include a mutual precoder controller that controls both an analog/RF beamforming circuit and a digital/BB beamforming circuit to prefer beams directed along paths in the local RF environment that minimize self-interference. In other cases, a transceiver can include one or more self-interference filters to internally mitigate self-interference.

Self-interference mitigation in in-band full-duplex communication systems

A mesh network node can include a self-interference cancellation subsystem. Operation of the self-interference cancellation subsystem enables persistent and/or continuous spectrum monitoring by the mesh network node. The mesh network node can transmit spectrum information at one or more intervals to a spectrum access server which can leverage spectrum information provided by multiple mesh nodes to optimize connections and/or links between nodes in the mesh network.

Self-interference cancellation subsystems for mesh network nodes

Methods and apparatus for interference cancelation in a radio frequency communications device are described. In various embodiments a signal to be transmitted in converted into an optical signal and processed using an optical filter assembly including one or more optical filters to generate an optical interference cancelation signal. The optical interference cancelation signal is converted into an analog radio frequency interference cancelation signal using an optical to electrical converter prior to the analog radio frequency interference cancelation signal being combined with a received signal to cancel interference, e.g., self interference. The optical filter assembly can include a large number of taps, e.g., 30, 50, 100 or more. Each tap may be implemented as a separate optical filter or series of optical filters. Delays and/or gain of the optical filters can be controlled dynamically based on channel estimates which may change due to changes in the environment and/or communications device position.

A method, system, and architecture for efficiently accessing data in a memory shared by multiple processor cores that reduces the probability of bank conflicts and decreases latency is provided. In an embodiment, a method for accessing data in a memory includes determining, by a scheduler, a read pattern for reading data from memory to serve requests in a plurality of bank queues, the memory comprising a plurality of memory banks and a plurality of coding banks, the coding banks storing a coded version of at least some of the data stored in the plurality of memory banks; reading a first data from a first memory bank; reading coded data from one of the coding banks; and determining the second data according to the coded data and the first data.

Intelligent coded memory architecture with enhanced access scheduler

A method includes receiving a first request, from a first master core, to access data in one of a plurality of memory banks. It is determined whether an access to the data is stalled by virtue of a second request, from a second master core, to access the data in the one of the plurality of memory banks, the second request currently being serviced. In response to a determination that the access to the requested data is stalled, the first request is serviced by accessing data in one of a plurality of coding banks, each coding bank smaller in size than each memory bank.

Intelligent memory architecture for increased efficiency

Systems and techniques for dynamic coding of memory regions are described. A described technique includes monitoring accesses to a group of memory regions, each region including two or more portions of a group of data banks; detecting a high-access memory region based on whether accesses to a region of the group of memory regions exceeds a threshold; generating coding values of a coding region corresponding to the high-access memory region, the high-access memory region including data values distributed across the group of banks; and storing the coding values of the coding region in a coding bank.

Dynamic coding algorithm for intelligent coded memory system

An intelligent code apparatus, method, and computer program are provided for use with memory. In operation, a subset of data stored in a first memory is identified. Such subset of the data stored in the first memory is processed, to generate a code. The code is then stored in a second memory, for use in reconstructing at least a portion of the data.
