A method for forming a sensor circuit. The method includes forming a plurality of magnetoresistive structures having a first predefined reference magnetization direction in a first common area of a common semiconductor substrate; forming a plurality of magnetoresistive structures having a second predefined reference magnetization direction in a second common area of the common semiconductor substrate; and forming electrically conductive structures electrically coupling the magnetoresistive structures having the first predefined reference magnetization direction to the magnetoresistive structures having the second predefined reference magnetization direction to form a plurality of half-bridge sensor circuits, wherein each half-bridge sensor circuit comprises a magnetoresistive structure having the first predefined reference magnetization direction electrically coupled to a second magnetoresistive structure having the second predefined reference magnetization direction.

Method for forming a sensor circuit

A sensor device is provided with a magnetic field sensitive element being positioned in a magnetic field of a magnet. The magnetic field sensitive element is configured to sense an orientation angle of the magnetic field in the range between 0&#xb0; and 360&#xb0; and generate a sensing signal. The electronic circuitry is configured to receive and process the sensing signal from the magnetic field sensitive element to generate an angle signal indicating the orientation angle of the magnetic field and an angular speed of the shaft.

Angle based speed sensor device

A system is provided with a magnetic field sensor being positioned in a magnetic field of a magnet that is coupled to a rotatable driving shaft. The magnetic field sensor is configured to sense a rotation of the magnetic field in response to a rotation of the rotatable driving shaft, and generate an angle sensor signal based on an orientation angle of the magnetic field. The angle sensor signal includes angular values that represent an absolute orientation angle of the rotatable driving shaft. The system includes a memory storing a mapping of values of a patterned signal to the angular values, electronic circuitry configured to generate, based on the angular values and the stored mapping, the patterned signal, and a signal generator circuit configured to generate a signal representing the absolute orientation angle of the rotatable driving shaft based on the angle sensor signal.

Rotation sensor

A sensor device is provided with a magnetic field sensitive element being positioned in a magnetic field of a magnet. The magnetic field sensitive element is configured to sense an orientation angle of the magnetic field in the range between 0&#xb0; and 360&#xb0; and generate a sensing signal. The electronic circuitry is configured to receive and process the sensing signal from the magnetic field sensitive element to generate an angle signal indicating the orientation angle of the magnetic field.

A sensor interface operates to communicate a sensed quantity along one or more processing pathways and in different data representations. The signal representations can be swapped along one or more locations of the signal processing branches. These branches are independent from one another and combined at an interface component for transmission along a single path or node for a control unit.

A sensor circuit includes a plurality of half-bridge sensor circuits. The sensor circuit includes a sensor output value determination circuit configured to determine a sensor output value. The sensor circuit further includes an error determination circuit configured to generate an error signal based on a first half-bridge sensor signal and a second half-bridge sensor signal. The sensor circuit further includes a control circuit configured to control a selection of one of the first half-bridge sensor circuit and the second half-bridge sensor circuit for providing one of the first half-bridge sensor signal and the second half-bridge sensor signal to the sensor output value determination circuit to determine the sensor output value.

A sensor system utilizing adaptively selected carrier frequencies is disclosed. The system includes a system bus, a bus master, and a sensor. The system bus is configured to transfer power and data. The bus master is coupled to the system bus and is configured to provide power to the bus and receive data from the bus. The sensor is coupled to the system bus and is configured to transfer data on the bus using an adaptively selected carrier frequency.
