The present invention relates to an energy storage device, comprising a switchgear cabinet housing in which a plurality of receiving spaces are provided, in which receiving spaces at least one control device and a variable number of electrical storage blocks are accommodated in an exchangeable manner, wherein the storage blocks can be selectively interconnected in series or in parallel and are connected to power connections by means of a current controller. Therefore, it is initially proposed to form the control device which is installed in the switchgear cabinet housing and the associated power electronics components themselves in a reconfigurable or variable manner in order to allow the controller and power electronics to be matched to another mode of operation or another application, without having to exchange the control and power electronics module and provide corresponding wiring for this purpose.

Energy storage device

The present invention relates to an energy storage device, comprising power terminals for connecting to a voltage circuit of power electronics of a drive system, which drive system can be controlled by an external system controller as well as at least one electrical storage block; at least one power converter for connecting the voltage circuit of the power electronics of the drive system to an internal voltage circuit of the storage block; and a control device for controlling the at least one power converter. Said control device has a controller board having output and/or feed-in control means for controlling the power converter for the outputting of current from/feeding of current into the storage block, and/or voltage closed-loop and/or open-loop control means for the closed-loop and/or open-loop control of the output voltage of the energy storage device. According to the invention, said control device has an adaptation board, which is connected to the controller board. The adaptation board comprises a plurality of connection terminals for differently designed external system controllers, at least one communication interface for communicating with the controller board of the control device, and at least one adaptation circuit for adapting and transferring signals between the connection terminals of the adaptation board and the controller board.

Energy storage device for electric drive systems

The present invention relates to a lifting device for example in the form of a crane such as a tower crane, with a hoisting gear comprising a hoisting cable which runs off from a drum that can be driven by a hoisting gear drive, and a hoisting gear brake for holding the hoisting cable in a braked position. The invention furthermore relates to a method for starting up the hoisting gear of such a lifting device from the braked position in which the hoisting gear brake holds a hoisting load, wherein a starting torque is built up by a hoisting gear drive against the closed hoisting gear brake, and the hoisting gear brake is released upon or after reaching the starting torque. According to the invention it is proposed that when the hoisting gear brake is closed, the current hoisting load is detected by means of a load detection device and the starting torque is adjusted by the hoisting gear controller with reference to the detected current hoisting load such that the hoisting force provided by the starting torque of the hoisting gear corresponds to the detected, current hoisting load.

Lifting device and method for starting up the hoisting gear of such a lifting device

The present invention relates to a crane, in particular to a revolving tower crane, having a boom rotatable about an upright slewing gear axis by a slewing gear drive and having an out-of-operation brake which allows and brakes rotary movements of the boom in the out-of-operation state. In accordance with the invention, the out-of-operation brake is configured as working electrodynamically and comprises an electric motor of the slewing gear drive which can be operated as an electric-motor brake.
