The invention relates to a hot air oven for the preparation of foodstuffs, with a housing with four housing side walls, a bottom and a housing cover, with a cooking chamber delimited by four side walls 4 as well as a bottom 2 and a ceiling 3, with a first blower 6 for generating a hot air flow in the cooking chamber, with a rotatable basket 5 for the foodstuffs, which can be inserted into the cooking chamber, wherein the hot air stream flows through the basket 5 during oven operation, with a control device for the course of the cooking progress, wherein the control device includes a temperature control, and with at least one incoming air conduit and at least one air outlet conduit 6, wherein at least one separation device 10 serving to separate out particles conveyed in the hot air flow is provided.

The invention relates to a hot air oven for the preparation of foodstuffs, having: a casing; a refining chamber bounded by four side walls, a bottom wall and a cover wall; a first fan for producing a hot air flow in the refining chamber; a rotatable basket for the foodstuffs which can be introduced into the refining chamber and through which the hot air flow passes during operation; a control device for the performance of the refining process, said control device comprising a temperature-regulating system; and at least one air supply channel and at least one air discharge channel, a more reliable and low-maintenance operation of which is made possible by the provision of at least one flap to open or close the air supply channel and/or the air discharge channel.

The invention relates to a hot air oven for the preparation of foodstuffs with a housing, with a cooking chamber delimited by four side walls as well as a bottom and a ceiling, with a first (2) blower for generating a hot air flow in the cooking chamber, with a rotatable basket (4) for the foodstuffs (5), which can be inserted into the cooking chamber, wherein the basket (4) can be rotated around an axis of rotation and the hot air stream flows through it during operation, wherein the basket (4)is guided into the direction required for insertion into the cooking chamber by means of guide elements (10) wherein the guide elements (10) are provided with a friction-reducing surface.

A rotisserie oven including separate convection and radiant heating elements is provided with individually controllable fans to allow precise control of food quality during different operational modes of the oven. In particular, a cooling fan is provided which may be operated separately of convection fans to prevent unwanted air circulation within the oven. According to a further embodiment of the invention, the upper surface of the oven is provided with substantially flat and seam-free configuration to allow for easy cleaning. Channels provided for directed convection currents are easily removable to facilitate cleaning. A control system allows for selection of predetermined operational modes utilizing individual fan and heating element control.
