A starting device for a combustion engine includes a housing relative to which a rope pulley, a spring housing and an entrainer can rotate about a rotation axis. A coupling unit produces a rotationally-fixed connection between the rope pulley and the spring housing in response to a rotational movement of the rope pulley in a starting direction. The spring housing has a spring receiving space for a tension spring and is connected to an entrainer by the spring. The coupling unit has a first coupling element and a second coupling element, which interact at a contact location which is at a spacing (d) to the rotation axis and is at least as large as the maximum spacing (c) of the tension spring to the rotation axis.

Starting device for starting a combustion engine and handheld work apparatus having said starting device

A handheld work apparatus has a blower wheel. The blower wheel is held via a nut on the shaft in a manner locked against rotation by frictional force. A thread moment of friction is transmittable between the nut and the shaft via a thread section. A first moment of friction is transmittable between the nut and the blower wheel via a first friction contact surface. The first friction contact surface is configured such that, at a minimum tightening torque of the nut, the first moment of friction is greater than the thread moment of friction. As a result, during the operation of the work apparatus when there is a relative movement between the blower wheel and the shaft, the blower wheel moves the nut along therewith. The nut retensions the blower wheel against the shaft. The second friction contact surface runs conically with respect to the rotational axis.

Handheld work apparatus

A starter device for an internal combustion engine has a rope pulley and a starter rope wound onto the rope pulley. A rope guide guiding the starter rope from the guide pulley to a rope outlet opening of the starter device is provided. A guide element positioned at the rope outlet opening holds the starter rope in the rope outlet opening. The rope guide has at least one deflection element that is arranged at the rope outlet opening. The deflection element has two tangents which are intersecting each other at an angle of less than 90&#xb0;. The deflection element has a minimal radius of a length that is longer than a length of a diameter of the starter rope. The starter handle can be positioned relative to the rope outlet opening at different orientations and enables ergonomic starting of the internal combustion engine of a backpack power tool.

A starter device for an internal combustion engine has a rope pulley and a starter rope wound onto the rope pulley. A starter handle is fastened to the starter rope. A rope guide with a first deflection roller is provided. A rope outlet opening is arranged along a circumferential section of the first deflection roller and extends along the circumferential section of the first deflection roller about a peripheral angle of the first deflection roller of at least 60&#xb0;. The rope guide guides the starter rope from the guide pulley to the rope outlet opening of the starter device. A guide element is arranged at rope outlet opening and holds the starter rope in the rope outlet opening. The starter handle can be positioned relative to the rope outlet opening at different orientations and enables ergonomic starting of the internal combustion engine of a backpack power tool.

A back carrier has a back plate and a shoulder strap. The back plate has a longitudinal extent and, in the direction of its longitudinal extent, has an upper and a lower end section. The upper end section reaches as far as the upper end of the back plate. The strap extends on the back side of the back plate, which faces toward the back of a user. The strap is fastened with a first strap section in the area of the upper end section to an upper fastening location and is fastened with a second strap section in the area of the lower end section to a lower fastening location. In the area of the upper end section, the back plate has a recess for receiving an extension plate. In the direction of the longitudinal extent, the recess is open toward the upper end of the back plate.

A suction head for connection to a fuel hose in a fuel tank has a base member made of an injection molding material. The base member has a peripheral wall surface provided with cutouts and also has an end face opening. A cap closes off the end face opening. A connecting socket for the fuel hose is provided on the suction head. A first filter element is received inside the base member. A second filter element covering the cutouts is provided and is made of a filter fabric, wherein the filter fabric is a twill weave fabric or a satin weave fabric. The filter fabric has a mesh size that is greater than 10 &#x3bc;m and smaller than 25 &#x3bc;m. A power tool with a four-stroke engine is provided with such a suction head in the fuel tank.

Suction head for connection to a fuel hose

The application sets forth a knapsack or backpack spraying device having a blower unit and a spraying medium container fixed to a carrying frame. The blower unit conveys an air stream through a blower pipe. Spraying medium is fed from the spraying medium container to the air stream. The spraying medium container has a filling opening which is closed by a cover. The cover has a lower edge facing the spraying medium container. The spraying device has a standing position in which it stands on a flat, horizontal standing face and in which the cover is arranged on an upper side of the spraying medium container facing away from the standing face. To reliably avoid contact of the operator with spraying medium, the height of the carrying frame, measured at right angles to the standing face, is at least 80% of the overall height of the spraying device.

Knapsack spraying device

A portable handheld suction/blower apparatus includes a motor-driven blower () and at least one air guide tube () connected to the blower () at a connecting location () to conduct flow. The connecting location () is configured at least as a double-winding connection () which has pairs of outer thread sections () of an outer winding () and inner thread sections () of an inner winding (). The pairs are distributed about the periphery of the threaded connection. The periphery of the connecting location () is subdivided by the number of pairs of thread sections () into a corresponding number of angular segments (). The sum of angular extents (&#x3b1;, &#x3b2;) of a pair of individual thread sections () is in total less than an angular extent (&#x3b3;) of the corresponding angular segment ().

Portable handheld suction/blower apparatus

A blower unit for a portable blower, having a drive shaft that is rotatably driven by a drive motor. Disposed in the blower unit is an axial fan that is provided with at least one fan wheel driven by the drive shaft and at least guide wheel fixedly disposed in the housing. To achieve a simple construction and a simple manufacture, the housing has at least two housing sections and is divided approximately parallel to the axis of rotation of the drive shaft.

Blower unit and portable blower

A hand-guided power tool has a housing having a first housing part and a second housing part. A grip unit has at least one handle for guiding the power tool and forms the first housing part. A motor unit is arranged in the second housing part and has a drive motor. The grip unit and the motor unit are connected to one another by at least one antivibration element. The at least one antivibration element has a first end secured to the first housing part and a second end secured to the second housing part. The first housing part has at least one receptacle extending from an exterior of the first housing part into a housing interior of the housing. The at least one antivibration element has a longitudinal extension and is surrounded over at least a portion of the longitudinal extension by the at least one receptacle.

Power tool

A portable blower having a motor unit that includes a drive motor disposed in an engine housing. The blower has a blower unit that is provided with a blower housing that is separate from the engine housing. The blower unit includes an axial fan that is driven by the drive motor via a drive shaft. During operation the axial fan conveys operating air in the direction of the axis of rotation of the axial fan through a blower tube disposed downstream of the axial fan. An ergonomic operation and a good operating result can be achieved if the motor unit includes a guide tube on which is secured at least one handle. The engine housing is disposed at one end of the guide tube and the blower unit is disposed at the other end of the guide tube. The drive shaft extends through the guide tube. The length of the guide tube between the engine housing and the blower unit corresponds to at least half of the length of the blower tube.

Portable blower

A hand-guided portable vacuum/blower device has a blower unit with a blower and a motor unit with a drive motor. The blower unit is rigidly connected to the motor unit. The drive motor is drivingly connected to the blower. A grip part is connected with antivibration elements to the motor unit and the blower unit. The grip part is at least approximately ring-shaped and has a first handle. The grip part is arranged in a plane that is positioned perpendicularly to an axis of rotation of the blower and, when viewed in the direction of the axis of rotation, is located between the motor unit and the blower unit.

Hand-guided portable vacuum/blower device

A portable handheld apparatus such as a brushcutter, blower or the like has a drive motor and a throttle lever (). The throttle lever () is pivotally journalled about a rotational axis (). The throttle lever () acts on an actuating device for controlling the drive motor. In order to make possible a simple adjustment of the actuating device, it is provided that the throttle lever () has an operator-controlled lever () and an actuating lever (). The operator-controlled lever () can be actuated by the operator. The actuating lever () acts on the actuating device. The relative position of the actuating lever () relative to the operator-controlled lever () is adjustable.

Portable handheld work apparatus

A two-cycle engine in a portable, manually-guided implement, such as a power chain saw, a cut-off machine, a brush cutter, or the like, is provided. The cylinder has a combustion chamber that is delimited by a reciprocating piston that via a connecting rod drives a crankshaft that is mounted in a crankcase so as to be rotatable about a crankshaft axis. The cylinder has an outlet for conveying exhaust gases out of the combustion chamber, with the outlet having an axis of the channel thereof. The cylinder also has an inlet for supplying a fuel/air mixture to the crankcase. By means of at least two transfer channels, the fuel/air mixture is conveyed out of the crankcase and into the combustion chamber, with the transfer channels being disposed symmetrically relative to the axis of the channel of the outlet. When viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the cylinder, the axis of the channel of the outlet is disposed at an angle of less than 90&#xb0; relative to the longitudinal central axis of the crankshaft.

An arrangement for decanting liquids includes a tubular-shaped support () having a flow channel (). The flow channel () is blocked by a valve plate () which is coupled via axial connecting elements (') to the relative movement of an inner sleeve () and an outer sleeve () of the support (). The outer sleeve () lies in overlapment and the axial connecting elements (&#x2032;) extend into the interior of the support. The valve plate () can be lifted from its valve seat against a spring force engaging at the inner sleeve () and at the outer sleeve (). A radial flange collar () is formed on the outer sleeve (). To ensure an accurate metering at the highest possible volume flow of the discharged liquid at low manufacturing costs, the valve plate () is mounted at a free end () of the support () and the axial connecting elements are configured as tension rods (&#x2032;) and are arranged next to an edge of the valve plate ().
