The invention relates to a pusher centrifuge () for the separation of a mixture () into a solid cake () and into a liquid phase (). The pusher centrifuge () in accordance with the invention includes an outer screen drum () rotatable about an axis of rotation (), a mixture distributor () arranged in the screen drum () with a pusher base apparatus () and an infeed device (), with the pusher base apparatus () being arranged and designed such that the solid cake () is displaceable by means of the pusher base apparatus () and the mixture () can be introduced by the infeed device () via the mixture distributor () into an empty space (R) which arises on the displacement of the solid cake () by the pusher base apparatus (). The mixture distributor () includes at least one funnel () for the pre-acceleration of the mixture (), with the funnel () being rotatably arranged about a drive axis () and being rotatable at a pre-settable speed of rotation about the drive axis () by means of a drive ().

Pusher centrifuge

The invention relates to a double pusher centrifuge including a screen drum () rotatable about an axis of rotation () for separating a mixture () into a solid material cake () and a liquid phase (), a mixture distributor () arranged in the screen drum () and having a pusher base device (), which is arranged to be movable to and fro along the axis of rotation (), so that the solid material cake () is alternately displaceable with an outer ring zone (). Furthermore, the double pusher centrifuge includes an infeed device () with which the mixture () can be introduced via the mixture distributor () into an empty space (), which arises adjacent to the outer ring zone () on displacement of the solid material cake () by the pusher base device (). In this arrangement the pusher base device () has acceleration surfaces () on both sides, which are inclined at a pre-determinable angle of inclination (&#x3b3;) with reference to the radial direction, so that the mixture () introduced by the infeed device () can be accelerated to a pre-determinable peripheral speed before reaching the screen drum ().

Double pusher centrifuge

The invention relates to a multi-stage pusher centrifuge () for the separation of a mixture () into a solid cake () and into a liquid phase (). The multi-stage pusher centrifuge () includes an outer screen drum () rotatable about an axis of rotation () and at least one screen stage () arranged in the outer screen drum (), and a mixture distributor () arranged in the screen drum () with a pusher base apparatus (), with either the screen stage () or the pusher base apparatus () being arranged movably to and fro along the axis of rotation () such that the solid cake () is displaceable by means of the pusher base apparatus (). The multi-stage centrifuge further includes an infeed device () with which the mixture () can be introduced via the mixture distributor () into an empty space () which arises on the displacement of the solid cake () by the pusher base apparatus (), with the pusher base apparatus () including a pre-acceleration funnel () which extends in a substantially divergent manner in the direction towards the infeed device () and the pre-acceleration funnel () being designed as a pre-acceleration screen ().

Multi-stage pusher centrifuge

The invention relates to a centrifuge comprising a rotating drum ( ) and comprising an ejection element ( ) which rotates together with the drum in order to eject a cake ( ) of solids, which is deposited on the inner side of the drum, in the axial direction ( ). The ejection element ( ) has a helix ( ) which extends over the length of the drum. The helix ( ) and the drum ( ) are kinematically connected in such a manner that a reference point (A) at the circumference of the helix executes a rotational movement relative to the drum in the form of a sawtooth line ( ), with a first flank ( ) of the sawteeth ( ) corresponding approximately in its inclination (&agr;) to the pitch (&bgr;) of the helix whereas a second flank ( ) of the sawteeth ( ) corresponds to an approximately axial ejection movement.
