The present disclosed subject matter relates to a housing for a firearm with an exchangeable barrel, comprising a bushing into which the barrel root of the exchangeable barrel may be inserted in the axial direction. The bushing has a slot in the axial direction and a clamping device for bringing the slot from a starting position into a narrowed position. The bushing is configured to receive the barrel root in a press-fitting manner when the slot is in the starting position and has a spreading device for bringing the slot from the starting position into an expanded position.

A method for producing a gun barrel with an integrally adjoining housing for at least one breech head includes the steps of providing a cylindrical blank having a through-bore corresponding to the breech head diameter; hammering a first longitudinal portion of the blank on a part of a first hammering mandrel corresponding to the inner profile of the barrel while the first hammering mandrel is guided through the through-bore; and hammering a second longitudinal portion of the blank on a second hammering mandrel corresponding to the inner profile of the housing while the second hammering mandrel is inserted into the through-bore.

A forward set trigger device for a firearm, includes a striking element that is acted upon by a main spring and has a catch interacting with a locking element, which can be disengaged from the catch by a trigger blade via a release member. The forward set trigger further includes an uncocking mechanism for the main spring by means of which a main spring support facing away from the striking element can be brought into a position that uncocks the main spring. A forward setting mechanism having a spring element, is articulated to the trigger blade and supported on a stop and which can be brought into an unstable cocked position during a forward setting movement of the trigger blade, and wherein the uncocking mechanism brings the spring element out of its unstable cocked position when the main spring support is moved into the uncocked position.

The invention relates to a drop-safety mechanism for a firearm having a pivot-mounted, trigger, said trigger being designed as an arm of a double lever, the other arm of which supports a counterweight that can be displaced between a rest position and a functional position. The counterweight is resiliently pre-tensioned in the rest position and strikes on a part of the firearm in the functional position to block the trigger from unintended firing.

The invention relates to a trigger mechanism for a firearm, comprising a spring-loaded firing pin which, when in the cocked position, engages on a catch. The catch can be released at a right angle to the direction of the firing pin to fire and can be displaced between the cocked position and a safety position uncocking the firing pin spring along the direction of the firing pin to lock the firearm. The catch slides on an intermediate member when displaced, said member being movable in the direction of release of the catch and engaging on a click-stop edge of a trigger, which click-stop edge can be disengaged to fire.

The invention relates to a cocking and uncocking mechanism for a firearm, comprising a spring-loaded firing pin which, when in the cocked position, engages on a catch that can be released to fire, said catch being displaceable by an actuator element acting upon the catch via a link motion the control cam of which maintains the force to be applied to the actuator element to displace the catch to the cocked position substantially constant at least in the center region of the actuation path.
