A network connector assembly comprises a header housing having two pins forming a pin pair. A first pin end portion can be connected to a counter connector. A second pin end portion can be connected to a PCB. A first electrically conductive shielding member is arranged laterally to the pin pair. A second electrically conductive shielding member is arranged intermediate the pin pair. The second pin end portions form a press fit connector configured to connect to the PCB. The second pin end portions comprise a press protrusion configured to cooperate with a press tool while being pressed in a PCB-opening of the PCB. The second electrically conductive shielding member defines a tool opening arranged at a position that allows movement of a press tool through the tool opening along a tool axis to access the press protrusion.

Electrical connector assembly

The present invention relates to a connector arrangement including a plug connector and a socket connector that may be suited for use with an electronically adjustable damper of an automobile. The socket connector is rotatably arranged in a socket connector housing and has an outer casing. The outer casing includes a guideway formed therein that is configured to receive a corresponding guide element of the plug connector. The guideway has a funnel shaped portion configured to receive the guide element. The guide element rotates the socket connector into a correctly aligned orientation with regard to the plug connector upon contacting the funnel shaped portion when the plug connector is inserted into the socket connector.

Connector arrangement with self aligning features

The present invention relates to a plug connector arrangement with a plug, having first catch arms arranged parallel to the plug-in direction and a secondary locking, as well as a mating plug with shoulders, behind which catch lugs engage in a final plugged-in position on the first catch arms. The secondary locking is released from a pre-catch position by the mating plug during the plug-in process and, on reaching its final catch position, is held back by the first catch arms until the catch lugs thereof are locked behind the shoulders of the mating plug.

An electrical connector assembly including a plug assembly and a socket assembly. The plug assembly includes a first flex cable and a first housing, and a biasing member. The socket assembly includes a second flex cable and a second housing. The plug assembly is adapted to be inserted into the socket assembly to electrically connect the first flex cable to the second flex cable. The biasing member is adapted to be contacted by a portion of the second housing to move the first flex cable out of an aperture of the first housing.
