One or more example embodiments relates to an integrated switching arrangement, in particular an FPGA or ASIC, for processing and transmitting data comprising at least video data in a network. Routes for individual data streams are specified via a configurable addressing scheme. One or more example embodiments further relates to a network device, a network and a method for processing and transmitting data.

Processing and transmitting video data

The invention relates to an integrated circuit arrangement, in particular an FPGA or an ASIC, for processing video data. It has a number of video interfaces for receiving and/or emitting video data from a plurality of data streams, as well as a frame buffer control system and a frame buffer interface. The invention further relates to a network device, a network, a computer unit and a method for processing video data.

A circuit having a resistive touch screen, a medical imaging appliance having a resistive touch screen and a method for operating a resistive touch screen are provided. The circuit has a resistive touch screen with a resistive first layer and a resistive second layer that are arranged parallel above one another. An input is captured and is supplied to the monitoring unit. The input is coded on the basis of the first signature.

A differential voltage measuring system is described. The differential voltage measuring system has a signal measuring circuit for measuring bioelectric signals, and an interference-signal measuring circuit coupled to the potential of the differential voltage measuring system and electrically connected to a fixed reference potential. In this case, the interference-signal measuring circuit is designed for measuring a current flowing from the potential of the differential voltage measuring system to the fixed reference potential. A differential voltage measuring system with an additional path is also described. Furthermore, a differential voltage measuring system with an averaging potential measuring method is described.

A differential voltage measuring system includes two electrodes that are connected to a patient at an input and make available a respective measurement contact at an output. A shunt resistor is connected in series with the second electrode. A first amplifier circuit has a first input for a first signal from the first electrode, a second input for a second signal from the second electrode, and an output. A second amplifier circuit has a first input that is connected in series with the shunt resistor, a second input that is connected in parallel with the shunt resistor, and an output. A first signal detection unit is provided at the output of the first amplifier circuit, and a second signal detection unit is provided at the output of the second amplifier circuit. The second signal detection unit detects the signal from the second amplifier circuit as a measurement variable.

A transport system or means of transport includes vehicles detachably connected to one another and a data transmission apparatus for wired data transmission between the vehicles and within the vehicles. In each vehicle the data transmission apparatus includes data coupling units for the data transmission between the respective vehicle and vehicles connected to it as well as two separate data connections connecting its two data coupling units. Each data coupling unit has four data ports as well as one or more switch units which can be used to produce different electrical connection states for the data ports. Simple and robust precise time synchronization of network subscribers is provided by a system having at least one head station with a satellite antenna and a receiving station receiving a satellite signal containing time information. Also included is a station clock having a network connection for the synchronization of the network subscribers using a real time network protocol. An electronic system, arranged in the head station or the station clock, receives the time information from the satellite signal. A bidirectional communication infrastructure connects the head station and the station clock.

Precise time synchronization of network subscribers

A more simple and robust time synchronization of network subscribers compared to solutions known in the state of the art is provided by a device for time synchronization of network subscribers of a network based on satellites, having at least one satellite antenna connected to a receiving unit receiving a satellite signal containing time information. An electronic system that obtains the time from the satellite signal is connected to a time server with a network connection for the synchronization of the network subscribers using a network protocol. The complexity of the device is reduced and the common coaxial infrastructure between the receiving unit and the time server is removed for the satellite signal and replaced by a robust infrastructure.

A network, in particular an Ethernet network, contains as network elements at least two network components that are interconnected by a network transmission line. Accordingly, at least one expansion unit having two external ports is disposed in the network line for extending the scope thereof, wherein the expansion unit forwards a failure of the network transmission line at one of the ports thereof to a port of the next subsequent network element.

An operating unit for a medical device is proposed. The operating unit has at least one display, at least one transparent, touch-sensitive first input field, and at least one transparent, touch-sensitive second input field. The at least one second input field is disposed between the at least one display and the at least one first input field. At least one device provides a haptically perceivable feedback after successful operation of the operating unit.
