According to an illustrative example of the invention, a flywheel is screwed to a crankshaft by a central bolt. The flywheel and the crankshaft are further provided with radially extending teeth in opposite annular contact faces. The friction ring carries on its inner circumference radially springing clamps (63) over which, together with the disc spring (43) it can be mounted by snapping on the side disc (7) or on a constructional part connected with the side disc (7).

The idling damper comprises an input part, produced from plastics material, which is non-rotatably connected to the hub disk coupled with rotational play but otherwise non-rotatably to the hub. Pairs of projections, shaped on the input part, enclose the springs between themselves and are supported through the pockets on the hub disk. Additional supporting elements, which engage in openings in the hub disk, are shaped on the outer periphery of the input part. The input part also forms a friction face of a friction device designed for load running. A friction face of a friction device, designed for idle running, is shaped on a tubular attachment of the output part. Entry bevels and catch shoulders are shaped on the projections of the input part for assembly purposes. The components of the idling damper can be oriented, relative to the hub flange, during assembly by means of a guiding tool.
