An inductive component, which has an annular core having a core cross section and made of a soft-magnetic material and a coil surrounding the core is provided. The coil is composed of two electrically conductive sections. The sections each have a basic U shape with two limbs, of which the first limb is longer than the second limb and the first limb is curved and towards the end of same projects away from a plane defined by the basic U shape. The sections are pushed onto the core next to one another so that the basic U shape of each section surrounds the core cross section on three sides. The first limb of a section is mechanically and electrically connected to the second limb of the other section. A method for producing a component of this kind is also described.

An antenna core comprises a flexible stack of a plurality of oblong soft-magnetic strips consisting of an amorphous or nanocrystalline alloy. The strips of said antenna core are separated from one another by an electrically insulating film each. The amorphous or nanocrystalline alloy has a magnetostriction value lambdas in the range of +4&#x3c;.&#x3e;10&#x3c;&#x2212;6&#x3e; to &#x2212;4&#x3c;.&#x3e;10&#x3c;&#x2212;6&#x3e; and a linear BH loop. The coefficient of induction L of the antenna core changes at 60 kHz at a center distortion by 25% of its length by less than 10% and the quality Q of the antenna core is &#x3e;=10 at 60 kHz.

Method for production of an antenna core

Discussed are rational, economical production methods for inductive components. Compared to prior methods, those addressed herein are significantly simplified processes in which exact positioning of the connections is possible. Among actions contemplated in exemplary versions of the method are providing a mold comprised of aluminum alloy, inserting a magnet core of the inductive component, and filling the closed mold with a molten hot-melt adhesive preferably comprising a polyamide base.

Antenna core and method for production of an antenna core

A highly bendable antenna core () which is highly bendable for high-frequency identification systems substantially retains its soft-magnetic properties when bending occurs. The antenna core is produced by using specific amorphous or nanocrystalline alloys having a very low magnetostriction value. The antenna core () is embodied in the form of a laminate with/or without insulating layers placed therebetween. An antenna can be provided with one such antenna core.

For manufacturing a winding protection for tape-wound cores that are surrounded with a winding, a polymer film is provided that is deposited onto the tape-wound cores from a vapor phase at room temperature in a drum process. Due to the end face penetration of the polymer into the tape-wound cores, the polymer is solidified and simultaneously surrounds all sides with a thin, uniformly adhering and directly windable layer.
