A motor arrangement with a door which can be swung between a closed and open position, including a door locking arrangement having an electrically actuated door latch configured to be moved between a locked and unlocked position, and a push-open arrangement for pushing open the door body from its closed position. The push-open arrangement includes a plunger, an actuator driving the plunger, and a controller configured to unlock the door locking arrangement when an electronic opening request is received and then electrically supply the actuator in a normal mode, such that the swing door is pushed from its closed to open position. The controller is configured to switch to a crash mode and to supply the actuator with an electrical power which is increased by at least 50% compared to the normal power when an opening request is received.

A cover () is mounted in the door () and adjacent to the second handle end (). In a preassembly position, the hinge elements of the two hinges of the vehicle door are each connected fixedly to the vehicle door via a pivotable hinge element of the two hinges. The vehicle door is held in position with precise gap positioning in a side wall door cutout of the vehicle body. A motor vehicle door in framework construction and method of making same is provided which includes a lower door element and a supporting doorframe made of profiles. The supporting doorframe essentially includes an upper window frame, an approximately horizontally aligned frame section running at the height of the window sill, and a lower frame. In order to combine numerous functional elements with the supporting doorframe into a prefabricated modular unit while increasing the stiffness of the motor vehicle door, particularly below the window sill, the region of the supporting doorframe lying below the window sill is provided with a large surface mounting support metal sheet which accommodates functional elements. The support metal sheet which is attached on one side at least with the approximately horizontally aligned frame section of the supporting doorframe and is attached on the other side overlapping with the lower door element to the lower frame and/or the lower door element.

Vehicle door and method of assembly

A motor vehicle door with a lower door element is provided into which an outer window channel reinforcement is integrated. This window channel reinforcement comprises a profiled section and is supported on the interior side on the outside door panel. Additional stiffenings of the profiling are formed by transversely extending indentations in the profilings.
