The present invention relates to a carriage assembly having a housing, having a cam disc and having a carriage which is guided in a linearly movable fashion, with the cam disc and carriage being operatively connected to one another. In order to specify a carriage assembly which is of the smallest possible construction, the invention proposes that a cam disc is arranged orthogonally with respect to a rear side of the housing.

Carriage assembly

The invention relates to a machine for stamping, bending and/or mounting of sheet metal parts with at least one upper housing part and at least one lower housing part . Preferably, several are arranged in a row. On each housing part the carriage apparatus is engaged by a motor. In order to increase the productivity of the machine, the carriage is driven by a program-controlled synchronous motor. In one embodiment a gear is positioned between motor and carriage which is formed preferably as an eccentric disc, connecting rod or elbow lever. The program-controlled synchronous motor is embodied as a torque motor and coupled by the gear member with the carriage.

Machine for stamping, bending and/or mounting sheet metal parts

The invention concerns a bending device (,) comprising two shaping dies (,) with shaping chambers (,) in order to round a sheet bar (,) about a core (,). The peripheral lengths of the two shaping chambers (,) are each longer than half the bushing circumference. During a pre-shaping step, the core (,) penetrates a first chamber (,) by a depth which is greater than the bushing radius. The sheet bar (,) is thus shaped in the form of a U. In an intermediate shaping stage, an auxiliary core (,) is placed on the core (,) such that, as the second shaping die (,) moves downwards, only the end of the U-legs of the sheet bar blank (,) are shaped arcuately. When the auxiliary core (,) and part (,) of the first shaping die (,) have been removed, the final bushing shaping process occurs, in which the second shaping die (,) likewise travels over the center of the bushing. The three-stage bending method enables a bushing to be rounded highly accurately and carefully.

Method and device for rounding bushings

A stamping and bending machine (10) has upper and lower horizontal supports (18, 16) in each of which are formed two longitudinal chambers (80) which open out through broad longitudinal slits (86) on opposite sides of the horizontal supports (16, 18). On both lateral faces of the horizontal supports (16, 18) carriage assemblies (26) are fixed; each of these carries an angular gear (36) which is encapsulated in a gear housing and protrudes through the longitudinal slit (86) into the appropriate longitudinal chamber (80). The angular gears (36) in each longitudinal chamber (80) are provided with coaxial through-channels with polygonal profiles. A drive shaft (28) with matching polygonal profiles is inserted through the angular gear (36) of each longitudinal channel (80) and couples the carriage assemblies (26) together. All the bearings of the gear teeth of the angular gear (36) and output shaft in the carriage assembly (26) are arranged in the modular unit formed by the carriage assembly (26) and the angular gear (36). The drive shaft (28) is supported by the angular gear (36) and thus requires no bedding of its own in the horizontal supports (16, 18) of the machine housing (14).
