A tool device comprises a first module and a second module that can be detached from the first module, the first module having a receptacle and the second module having an insertion part that can be inserted in the receptacle along an insertion axis. The insertion part can be rotated in the receptacle about the insertion axis between a locked position and an enabled position, the receptacle having a first projection and the insertion part having a second projection. In the locked position, the second projection engages behind the first projection in the direction of the insertion axis, and in the enabled position, the first projection enables the second projection to pass in the direction of the insertion axis, the receptacle preventing an activation of the tool device in an initial position and allowing activation of the tool device in a pressed-on position.

Tool device&#x2014;with module attachments

The invention relates to a hand-held tool for driving fastening elements into a base, the tool having an initiating device, the actuation of which initiates a drive-in action and which can be blocked, depending on at least one state of the tool. In order to further simplify or improve the operation of the hand-held tool, a lifting magnet, associated with the initiating device, can block or enable the actuation of the initiating device.

According to one aspect of the application, a tool for driving a fastening element into an underlying surface comprises an energy transmission element for transmitting energy to the fastening element. The energy transmission element is preferably movable between an initial position and a setting position, the energy transmission element being situated in the initial position before the driving process and in the setting position after the driving process. According to another aspect of the application, the device comprises a mechanical energy accumulator for storing mechanical energy. The energy transmission element is then suitable particularly for transmitting energy from the mechanical energy accumulator to the fastening element.

Driving device

According to one aspect of the application, a device for driving a fastening element into a substrate has an energy-transfer element for transferring energy to the fastening element. The energy-transfer element can move preferably between a starting position and a setting position, wherein the energy-transfer element is located, before a driving-in procedure, in the starting position and, after the driving-in procedure, in the setting position. According to another aspect of the application, the device comprises a mechanical-energy storage device for storing mechanical energy. The energy-transfer element is then suitable preferably for transferring energy from the mechanical-energy storage device to the fastening element.

According to one aspect of the application, a tool for driving a fastening element into an underlying surface comprises an energy transmission element for transmitting energy to the fastening element. The energy transmission element is preferably movable between an initial position and a setting position, the energy transmission device being in the initial position before the driving process and in the setting position after the driving process. According to another aspect of the application, the device comprises a mechanical energy accumulator for storing mechanical energy. The energy transmission element is then suitable particularly for transmitting energy from the mechanical energy accumulator to the fastening element.

A auxiliary constructional component includes a base member (), a guide section () for a fastening element () and projecting from the base member (), and a feeler element () displaceably supported on the base member () for displacement along an attachment axis (A) defined by a through-opening () formed in the guide section (), having at least one, radially spaced from the through-opening (), placement surface () for a press-on feeler () of a setting tool, and projecting in an initial position of the feeler element () beyond a side of the base member () remote from the guide section ().

A setting tool for driving fastening elements in a constructional component, includes a muzzle (), a bolt guide () located in the muzzle (), a magazine () for fastening elements () and releasably mountable on the tool housing () and having a connection section () provided at an end of the magazine () adjacent to the muzzle () and with which the magazine () is secured to the muzzle (), and a connection device for releasably mounting the magazine on the tool housing () and including a hinge bearing formed as a plug-in coupling and provided with a first support element arranged on the connection section () of the magazine () and a second support element arranged on the muzzle (), with the hinge bearing () having a pivot axis (S) provided on a side of the magazine () remote from the housing (), outside of the magazine () and outside of the muzzle () and extending at a right angle to a plane (E) defined by the bolt guide () and the magazine ().

A setting tool for driving fastening elements in a constructional component, includes a muzzle (), a bolt guide () located in the muzzle (), a magazine () for fastening elements () and releasably mountable on the tool housing () and having a connection section () provided at an end of the magazine () adjacent to the muzzle () and with which the magazine () is secured to the muzzle (), and a connection device for releasably mounting the magazine () on the housing () and including a snap device () located between the magazine () and the housing () and having a snap member () and a counter-snap member () engageable with each other in a snap position () of the magazine (), with the snap device () applying pressure to the muzzle () in the snap position ().

A hand-held drive-in tool () has a trigger switch () for triggering a drive-in process by drive unit () that drives a drive-in ram (), a press-on feeler () which is arranged so as to be displaceable at a muzzle (), which can detect that the drive-in tool pressed against a workpiece, and which prevents the actuation of a drive-in process in its initial position () and enables actuation of its drive-in process in its switching position (), a component feeler () displaceably arranged at the muzzle () and capable of being actuated independently from the press-on feeler () and preventing actuation of a drive-in process in its initial position () and enabling the actuation of the drive-in process in its switching position (), the component feeler () detecting fitting of an auxiliary constructional component () to the muzzle (), with a drive-in process being initiated by the trigger switch () only when the component feeler () and the press-on feeler () are both in their respective switching positions ().
