Described is a method for decoloring of a textile material, the method includes the steps of: providing a textile material; providing an alkaline solution containing one or more anionic polyelectrolytes; treating the textile material in the alkaline solution during a treatment period; and recovering at least some of the textile material from the alkaline solution.

Method for decoloring of a textile material

A process for separation of the cellulosic part from a raw material composition comprising polyester and cellulose is provided. A blend is prepared comprising a raw material composition comprising polyester and cellulose and a hydrolyzing liquor wherein the hydrolyzing liquor comprises a first mixture comprising an alkaline solution containing hydroxide ions. The hydrolyzing liquor is added to give the blend an effective alkali concentration in a range from 5 g/l to 150 g/l, wherein the effective alkali concentration is calculated as NaOH, and the hydrolyzing liquor:raw material composition ratio is from 1.5:1 up to 25:1 and keeping the blend at a temperature of 100° C. or above.

Process for separation of the cellulosic part from a polyester and cellulose composition

A method for manufacturing dissolving pulp using wood material is disclosed. The method comprises The wood material can be a coniferous wood material, and whereby the mild hydrothermal treatment is performed to reach a P-factor of from 100-300, and whereby the cold caustic extraction is executed to reach a combined concentration of anhydromannose and anhydroxylose of 5 weight %, or less, of the carbohydrate content of the pulp product.

Method for manufacturing dissolving pulp

The present invention relates to a process for producing an oxidized cellulose pulp fibrillar network and a composite with lignocellulosic fibers comprising the following steps: (a) oxidizing a cellulose pulp to obtain about 0.3 to 2.5 mmol carboxylic groups per gram cellulose pulp; and about 0.1 to 5.0 mmol aldehyde groups per gram cellulose pulp; (b) homogenization of the cellulose pulp of step (a) wherein the cellulose fibers are refined to provide a cellulose pulp comprising 0-50% of fibers having an average length 0.7 mm-2.1 mm; and 50-100% of fibers having a particle size of 0.05-500 micrometer (&#x3bc;m); and optionally (c) combining with lignocellulosic fiber. Also step (d) drying of the cellulose pulp obtained by step (b) or step (c) may be included in the process.
