An ink cartridge including a cartridge body, a recess part, a positioning part and a chip disposed in the recess part, where the cartridge body includes an ink accommodating chamber for storing ink, the recess part is disposed on an upper side of the cartridge body and includes a side wall, at least a portion of the side wall is configured to limit a relative position between the ink cartridge and the image forming device in a first direction; the positioning part is disposed above the side wall, and in a second direction, at least a portion of the positioning part is located on a rear end side of the chip and is configured to limit the relative position between the ink cartridge and the image forming device in a third direction.

The present invention provides a method for controlling light emission of an ink cartridge, a control unit, a circuit board, an ink cartridge and an imaging device, to decrease misjudgment rate of the imaging device. The control method includes: receiving and identifying a light emitting control instruction from the imaging device main body; starting a light-on delay timing when identifying the light emitting control instruction is a light-on instruction; controlling the light emitting unit of the ink cartridge to stop emitting light when identifying the light emitting control instruction is a light-off instruction; controlling the light emitting unit to emit light when detecting a timing value of the light-on delay timing reaches a delay threshold value. The present invention avoids misjudgment problem of unable to pass position detection due to light amount inconsistent caused by manufacturing errors of the light emitting unit, when setting a light-on delay timing.

An ink cartridge used for an inkjet printer, with an ink storage chamber, an ink outlet and an air inlet, and a detection component designed inside the ink storage chamber for detecting residual ink volume. The ink storage chamber includes an ink detection chamber and a relatively enclosed ink refilling chamber with an opening at a lower part. The opening of the ink refilling chamber is inside the ink detection chamber. The detection component is designed inside the ink detection chamber.

An inkjet printer, which comprises a slide lid slideably connected with the cartridge body, wherein a fixed clamp is formed on both sides of the cartridge body respectively; a movable wall which is engaged and fastened with the fixed clamp at the end is formed on both sides of the slide lid respectively; and a friction force generating component is arranged on one side of the movable wall. Due to the friction forces generated by the friction force generating components, two sidewalls of the movable walls are tightly engaged with the inner wall of the ink cartridge bin of the printer to lock the ink cartridge and fix the ink cartridge into the ink cartridge bin of the printer. The technical problems of poor contact of a chip and abnormal disengagement of an ink container as locking members are loosened when the ink cartridge on the printer can be solved.

The invention relates to an ink cartridge for an ink jet printer. The ink cartridge comprises a cartridge body and a detection mechanism for detecting the ink cartridge and residual quantity of ink, wherein the cartridge body comprises an ink tank for storing ink, an ink outlet for supplying ink to a printing head of the printer and an air inlet, the ink tank comprises a first ink chamber and a second ink chamber, a first negative pressure mechanism and a second negative pressure mechanism are arranged between the first ink chamber and the second cavity, the first negative pressure mechanism and the second negative pressure mechanism cooperatively control the ink inside the first ink chamber to be consumed preferentially than the ink inside the second ink chamber, and the second negative pressure mechanism generates negative pressure when a certain quantity of ink inside the ink tank is used for printing. Since negative pressure inside the ink tank is not generated until the used ink inside the ink tank reaches a certain quantity, i.e., negative pressure is generated only in case that the residual quantity of ink is small in the end, the technical problem that constant negative pressure in the process of using the ink cartridge leads to the damage and deformation of the parts inside the ink cartridge which impact on the quality of printing can be avoided.
