A method for distributing file data includes: obtaining a first request message of a first client for downloading a first file, and determining an autonomous system (AS) where the first client is located; searching the AS for edge servers that support peer to peer (ES-Ps), and returning the address of at least one ES-P storing the first file to the first client; and sending the first file stored in the ES-P to the first client according to the client information returned by the ES-P. Related devices and systems are also provided. The present invention may speed up the file data distribution, reduce the restriction of the file data distribution due to fixed bandwidth of the ES, and enable P2P data streams to be converged into an AS, thus reducing the impact on backbone networks.

A method for constructing a network topology is applied in a streaming delivery system. The streaming delivery system includes: a center server (CS-P), an edge server (ES-P), a request scheduling server (RRS-P), and a client. The disclosed embodiments utilizes the upload capabilities of the client to transmit a part of streaming data, thus consuming fewer center server resources. By constructing the network topology, the disclosed embodiments enable the client to obtain a part of streaming data from other clients, reduces the load capability requirements for the server, and ensures that a streaming delivery network may provide streaming live services with higher bandwidths and better quality.

The present invention relates to network coding and discloses a method, an apparatus, and a system for random linear network coding to prevent the complicated and time-consuming process of network coding. The coding method for random linear network includes: splitting original data into at least two data blocks sequentially; determining at least two coefficient groups, wherein a length of each coefficient group is the same as the number of the data blocks, and the coefficient group comprises two elements; performing a bitwise-AND operation on the data blocks and coefficients corresponding to the data blocks to obtain code blocks; and performing a bitwise-XOR operation between the code blocks to obtain a code packet. The present invention is applicable to the network coding which requires a high efficiency of coding.

A method for implementing parallel download applicable to a system supporting the download of chunked download content includes: acquiring download source information corresponding to download content, wherein the download source information comprises multiple content sources providing the download content, and the multiple content sources corresponds to multiple download servers respectively; dividing the download content into download content chunks according to the download source information; sending a download content chunk request to the multiple download servers corresponding to the multiple content sources respectively, and downloading the download content chunks from the multiple download servers in parallel. A download agent for implementing parallel download is provided. The method and download agent of the embodiments of the present invention may improve the download speed and robustness effectively. Therefore, object files with a large amount of data may be downloaded reliably and rapidly.
