An unlocking method used in an electronic device includes acquires data as to motion of the electronic device detected by a gyroscope at predetermined intervals when the electronic device is locked. If current motion of the electronic device is caused by a human, according to the acquired motion data and motion data stored in the storage device, a capturing device is controlled to capture an image. Biological characteristics in the acquired image are matched against biological characteristics pre-stored in the storage device, and the electronic device is unlocked when matching biological characteristic is found.

Electronic device and unlocking method therefor

A friction hinge with its motion restricted in one pivoting direction includes a support member, a restricting module, and a pivot member. The restricting module is mounted on the support member. The restricting module has an air flow opening. The pivot member is pivotable relative to the support member and the restricting module. A regulating chamber is defined between the pivot member and the restricting module. When the pivot member is pivoted in one direction, a pressure in the regulating chamber is increased and the restricting module is actuated to reduce size of the air flow opening, increasing the resistance to pivoting of the pivot member in this pivoting direction.

A receiving device includes a casing, a guiding member, a rotation member, a key, and a pushrod. The casing includes a baseboard, a first side plate, a second side plate, and a receiving member. The guiding member is received in the receiving member and defines a receiving groove. The rotation member rotatably covers the receiving groove and defines a bump element. The bump element is mounted on the first side plate through a first spring. The key is movably arranged in the casing. The pushrod includes a first end, a second end, and a spindle. The key is driven by an external force to drive the pushrod to rotate about the spindle, and the pushrod drives the rotation member to rotate until the receiving groove is no longer covered, thus the receiving groove is opened.

Receiving device

A receiving device for an electronic device, to hold a stylus, includes a top member, a bottom member, and a connection member. The bottom member faces the top member, the connection member is arranged between the top member and the bottom member. A clamping member and a receiving member are formed between the top member, the bottom member, and the connection member. The clamping member faces away from the receiving member, the clamping member is clamped onto an electronic device, the receiving member receives a stylus.
