A wireless device (e.g., a base station) may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), an indication of a field type of a field between the UE and the wireless device. The indication of the field type may include one or more bits indicating the field type, a measure indicating a likelihood that the field type includes a first field type as compared to a second field type, an indication that the first type is the same as a second field type configured at the UE, or any combination thereof. The UE may select between a first set of beam weight vectors and a second set of beam weight vectors based on the field type. The UE may communicate, with the base station, a reference signal using a beam generated using a first beam weight vector from the selected set.

Generally, a base station may send, and a user equipment (UE) may receive, a transmission beam adjustment message indicating a change from a first time interval to a second time interval in which a transmission beam is utilized to transmit a synchronization signal and physical broadcasting channel block (SSB). The base station may send the transmission beam adjustment message to all connected UEs, individual UEs affected by the adjustment, or to one or more UE groups. The network node may include a transceiver, a memory, and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver and the memory. The transceiver, memory, and processor may be configured to determine uplink (UL) parent and child link priorities for parent and child time-domain resources that overlap in time at least partially. The transceiver, memory, and processor may also be configured to determine UL parent and child beams based on the UL parent and child link priorities. The transceiver, memory, and processor may further be configured to notify the parent node of the UL parent beam for the parent and child time-domain resources. The transceiver, memory, and processor may yet further be configured to concurrently transmit parent traffic to the parent node using the UL parent beam and receive child traffic from the child node using the UL child beam.
