Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for calculating and reporting channel state information (CSI) for time division multiplexed (TDM) based multiple transmission reception point (mTRP) transmissions.

CSI reference resource for TDM based multiple transmission reception transmissions

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a base station may perform one or more operations for receive antenna switching. For example, a UE may receive a set of reference signals from a base station using one or more ports of the UE. Based on receiving the set of reference signals, the UE may generate channel state information (CSI) associated with a set of antenna ports. In some cases, the UE may generate CSI based on receiving a configuration indicating the set of antenna ports. The UE may transmit, to the base station, a CSI report including the CSI information associated with the set of antenna ports and an indication of the associated antenna ports. The base station may receive the CSI report and may communicate with the UE using a set of precoders associated with the set of indicated antennas ports.

The apparatus may also receive CRS assistance information associated with the DSS, the CRS assistance information corresponding to one or more interfering cells. Additionally, the apparatus may determine at least one of a location or a sequence of at least one CRS, the at least one CRS corresponding to at least one of the one or more interfering cells. The apparatus may also mitigate interference from the at least one CRS corresponding to the at least one interfering cell, the interference being mitigated based on at least one of the location or the sequence of the at least one CRS.

The UE may apply, to the first subset, a distribution matcher parameter based on the set of encoding parameters.
