A high frequency vibration spindle system with non-contact power transmission and a method for manufacturing a restraining member used therein are disclosed. The high frequency vibration spindle system comprises: an electric power transmission device including a first induction module and a second induction module, wherein the second induction module is disposed at either a spindle or a toolholder and is adapted to receive an electric power from the first induction module in a non-contact electromagnetic induction manner; a transducer adapted to vibrate the tool and disposed at the toolholder and electrically connected with the second induction module to receive the electric power; and-a restraining member located between the first induction module and the second induction module. With the restraining member, the structural strength and stability of the second induction module can be improved, thereby increasing the maximum rotational speed of the high frequency vibration spindle system.

High frequency vibration spindle system with noncontact power transmission and method for manufacturing a restraining part used therein

A machining device is adapted to be provided on a mount provided with a toolholder. The toolholder is controllable to rotate and is adapted to be engaged with a tool. A primary coil engaged with the toolholder includes a first ferrite core and a first coil assembly detachably engaged with the first ferrite core. The first coil assembly is modular molded, and is adhered to be an annular body having a first hollow portion. A piezoelectric actuator is electrically connected to the primary coil to drive the tool to vibrate. The secondary coil includes a second ferrite core and a second coil assembly detachably engaged with the second ferrite core. The second coil assembly is modular molded to be an annular body having a second hollow portion.

A high frequency vibration spindle system which includes a spindle having a spindle housing and a spindle shaft disposed in the spindle housing; a toolholder, engaged with the spindle and adapted to be engaged with a tool; an electric power transmission device disposed at the front end or a rear end of the spindle, including a first coil and a second coil; the first coil is disposed on the spindle housing, and the second coil is disposed on the spindle shaft to be rotated with the spindle shaft coaxially; the first coil and the second coil are spaced with a gap; the second coil is adapted to receive an electric power from the first coil with a non-contact induction method; and a transducer, adapted to be controlled to vibrate the tool and disposed in the toolholder and electrically connected with the second coil to receive the electric power.

High frequency vibration spindle system

A machining toolholder including a body, a horn and a piezoelectric actuator is disclosed. The body includes a center through hole extending in the axial direction therein. The center through hole includes a first hole section and a second hole section. The horn includes a first section and a second section which are disposed coaxially and connected with each other. Part of the first section is slidably inserted into the first hole section. The second section is connected to the body and engaged with a tool. Part of the surface of the second section contacts with a wall surface of the second hole section. The piezoelectric actuator fits around the horn and is controllable to drive the tool to vibrate. With this design, the machining toolholder could have good stiffness and connection stability, and could resist to the stress effectively.
