A surgical power drill system includes a housing unit, a driving unit, a tool holder, and a screw member. The driving unit is movably mounted in the housing unit and includes a motor and a motor shaft coupled to the motor. The driving unit is movable relative to the housing unit between a distal position, where the driving unit is distal from a front end of the housing unit, and a proximate position, where the driving unit is proximate to the front end of the housing unit. The tool holder is coupled to a first end portion of the motor shaft. The screw member is coupled to a second end portion of the motor shaft.

Surgical power drill system

A surgical expandable implant includes a bolt, a movable member, and a support body. The bolt has a bolt body and a fixing member. The movable member is configured to be slidably sleeved on the bolt body. The support body has a first end configured to extend through the fixing member and a second end configured to extend through the movable member. The movable member is configured to slide along the length of the bolt body so as to move the support body from an initial shape to a deformed shape.

A surgical device for retaining a tool, the surgical device comprises a multi-axis manipulator configured to generate relative movement between a moving end and a stationary end thereof; a housing fixed to the stationary end of the manipulator; a motor configured to rotate the tool by a rotating interface when the tool is retained to the rotating interface; an adaptor connected to the manipulator and in orientational fixation to the moving end of the manipulator, the adaptor being configured to move with the moving end, and the adaptor comprises a tool stopper disposed therein, wherein the tool stopper is configured to catch the tool if the tool is dropped from the rotating interface; a tool head latchless interface exposed to a channel of the adaptor and configured to provide attraction force within the channel for retaining the tool to the rotating interface.

Surgical device and method thereof

A navigation method for a medical operation and implemented by a robotic system is provided. The method includes the steps of: receiving, at a processor of the robotic system, at least one set of navigation data; receiving or generating at least one three-dimensional model of the virtual object in the navigation data; calculating the navigation data to generate a virtual environment and at least one navigation instruction; and presenting, at a user interface associated with the robotic system, the virtual environment and/or the navigation instruction to a user of the robotic system for the user to refer to during the medical operation.

Navigation system and method for medical operation by a robotic system using a tool

A surgery assistive system includes an instrument having a tool and a manipulator connected to the tool, a spatial sensor system for detecting spatial information of the tool, and a computer system for manipulating a kinematic state of the manipulator. A method for obtaining surface information by the surgery assistive system includes the steps of: defining a target region and a plurality of reference points on a virtual anatomical model of a subject; prompting a user to generate sampling information by using the instrument to sample a plurality of sampling points on the subject corresponding to the reference points; and designating the sampling information as surface information of the sampling points. Each piece of the sampling information includes a coordinate of one of the sampling points, an angle of a contact of the tool at the sampling point, and parameters associated with the contact.
