An optical transmission device includes a laser configured to generate an initial optical signal, radio-frequency signal channels configured to transmit radio-frequency modulation signal, a ground channel disposed in parallel with and connected to the radio-frequency signal channels, an input optical fiber receiving the initial optical signal, a front-end optical splitting element splitting the initial optical signal, and optical transmission units. Each optical transmission unit includes a rear-end optical splitting element connected to the front-end optical splitting element, two optical splitting paths, an optical combining element, and an output optical fiber configured to output the optical modulation signal. One of the radio-frequency signal channels is disposed between the two optical splitting paths, and two of the radio-frequency signal channels are disposed at two sides of the two optical splitting paths, to modulate the optical splitting signal with the corresponding radio-frequency modulation signal.

Optical transmission device and control method thereof for integrating multiple signal based on lithium niobate modulation

An optical transmission device comprises a lithium niobate modulator and a laser. The lithium niobate modulator includes an input optical fiber configured to receive the initial optical signal, an optical splitting element configured to split the initial optical signal to generate two optical splitting signals, two optical splitting paths configured to transmit the two optical splitting signals, a radio-frequency signal channel disposed in parallel between the two optical splitting paths and configured to transmit a radio-frequency modulation signal, a ground channel disposed in parallel with and connected to the radio-frequency signal channel, an optical combining element configured to combine the two optical splitting signals to generate an optical modulation signal, and a output optical fiber configured to output the optical modulation signal. The radio-frequency signal channel and the ground channel are used in modulation of the two optical splitting signals in accordance with the radio-frequency modulation signal.

Optical transmission device based on lithium niobate modulation method

An optical transmission control device comprises a light emitting sub-component, a first and a second signal transmission line, a laser driving component, a switching component, and a microcontroller. The laser driving component is connected to the light emitting sub-component. The switching component has two input terminals, an output terminal, and a controlling terminal, the two input terminals are connected to the first signal transmission line and the laser driving component, respectively, and the output terminal is connected to the light emitting sub-component. The microcontroller receives a data signal and executes: controlling the laser driving component to generate and output a driving signal to the light emitting sub-component according to the data signal; and controlling the switching component to output the analog signal according to the data signal, or controlling the laser driving component to process the digital signal and control the switching component to output the processed digital signal.
