Infusion systems for pumping fluid into a body of a user, and methods for providing infusion systems, are disclosed. The infusion systems include an infusion pump, wherein the infusion pump comprises an infusion pump housing including a cavity. A fluid storage is removably inserted into the cavity of the infusion pump housing wherein, the fluid storage comprises a cartridge and an adapter connected to the cartridge such that the adapter encases the cartridge, and an infusion set is removably connected to the fluid storage.

Ampoule unit for an administering device, comprising an ampoule having a distal end with an opening for dispensing a product and a proximal end with an opening for accommodating a displacement body unit, and the proximal end of the ampoule has a thread which can be placed in a thread engagement with a complementary thread which is part of the displacement unit or a displacement body unit.

An insulin pump and an infusion set adapter having a membrane which can be acted upon by a liquid flow path associated with the pump, wherein the pump comprises a sensor by which a change in shape or location of at least a portion of the membrane caused by a change in the liquid pressure in the flow path can be detected in a contact-free manner to identify an occlusion in the flow path.

A device for transferring a fluid product from one container to another including a hollow needle suitable for piercing a membrane and having a first, front opening, the needle being connectable to one of the containers via a first, rear hollow needle opening so that the fluid product can be conveyed into or out of the container through the hollow needle and hollow needle openings, the needle having a second, rear opening which forms a fluid connection between the another container and a pressure compensation device or the environment while the fluid is being transferred.
