An apparatus for determining a body portion of a user treated by the user using a personal hygienic device. The apparatus includes a camera configured to capture the user to obtain a pictorial representation of the user while treating the body portion using the personal hygienic device; an interface configured to receive sensor data from at least one inertial sensor residing in the personal hygienic device; and an analyzer configured to analyze the pictorial representation and the sensor data to determine the body portion.

Dental cleaning device

The invention is directed to a method and a device for cleaning teeth wherein a variety of cleaning tools are coupled to a common handle section for the individual cleaning of teeth. According to the invention the handle section detects a coding provided on the respective cleaning tool attached. The invention is directed to a dental cleaning device. The invention is directed to a brush attachment adapted to be attached to and detached from a shaft of a handle of an electric toothbrush, including a bristle area, a brush shank and a plug-on part disposed in the brush shank, wherein the plug-on part includes a first spring element and a second spring element which act on the shaft when the brush attachment is plugged onto the shaft. This establishes a connection without play between the brush attachment and the shaft, enabling relatively high vibration frequencies to be transmitted.
