A mobile terminal including a foldable case having a front case and rear case and configured to be in one of an opened flat state in which a protrusion of the rear case is slid inward into a sliding area of the front case, a folded state in which the protrusion of the rear case is slid outward from the sliding area, and an intermediate state between the opened flat state and the folded state; a flexible display on a surface of the foldable case; and electrical components between the front case and the rear case.

Mobile terminal

A mobile terminal having a body including a first body and a second body, a display positioned on one surfaces of the first and second bodies and commonly overlapping the first and second bodies, and a hinge assembly positioned between the first and second bodies and connecting the first and second bodies is provided. At least a partial structure of the hinge assembly slidingly moves with respect to another structure of the hinge assembly so that a position of the first and second bodies is changed from a first state in which the first and second bodies are disposed on the same plane to a second state in which one of the first and second bodies is folded on the other. The mobile terminal can smoothly change a state of the body of the mobile terminal using the hinge assembly that slidingly moves and has a variable length.

There is disclosed a mobile terminal including a frame comprising a front surface in which a display unit is loaded, a window disposed on a front surface of the display unit; and a front case configured to cover a predetermined area of the window, wherein the window includes a first window layer comprising a front surface exposed outside, a second window layer larger than the first window layer and comprising a first area of a front surface disposed to face a rear surface of the first window layer and a rear surface facing a front surface of the display unit, and an optical clear adhesive (OCA) provided between the first window layer and the second window layer, and the front case covers a second area arranged around the first area of a front surface of the second window layer, to maintain transparency of a window arranged in a front surface thereof, with an improved rigidity, and to reduce damage to the window.

A signal input module includes: a key body; a key base coupled to a lower portion of the key body, and having fixing portions of different heights at both sides thereof; a flexible printed circuit board disposed such that an upper surface thereof is covered by the key base, and having a dome portion on a rear surface thereof, the dome portion configured to generate a signal when pressed by the key base; and a light emitting portion formed on one surface of the flexible printed circuit board, wherein the fixing portion and the key base are connected to each other by a connection portion, wherein the connection portion is bent from one end of the key base, extends toward the fixing portion, wherein the connection portion is provided with a hole, and wherein the flexible printed circuit board is disposed to cross the hole. Under such configuration, the number of components can be reduced and the signal input module can have a slim configuration.

A mobile terminal includes: a body in which an electronic component is installed; and a movement unit fastened to the body in at least a portion thereof, configured to output information processed in the mobile terminal, and the movement unit being flexible on the body as curvature of the body is varied, wherein the body includes a varied portion whose curvature is varied and fixed portions formed on both ends of the varied portion and having curvature which is not changed, wherein the varied portion includes a plurality of micro blocks formed in a movement direction and configured to form a predetermined curvature and an elastic member formed in the micro blocks and enabling the micro blocks to form a predetermined curvature when external force is applied or when external force is removed.

A glasses-type mobile terminal includes a frame, a fixing body, a moving body and a joint. The frame is wearable on a user's head. The fixing body is coupled to one side of the frame. The moving body has a display unit for providing a user with visual information, and is disposed at the front based on user's eyes. The joint has one end coupled to the fixing body and the other end tiltably connected to the moving body so that the position of the moving body is controlled.

Glasses-type mobile terminal

Disclosed are a portable electronic device having a display unit which can be bent or folded partially or wholly, and a control method thereof. The portable electronic device includes: a display unit having a front surface and a rear surface, and formed to be flexible; and a folding unit including a plurality of blocks and a connection unit, and configured to be foldable together with the display unit, the plurality of blocks overlapped with each other on the rear surface of the display unit, the connection unit configured to connect the plurality of blocks to each other, wherein the plurality of blocks are arranged such that at least part thereof is relatively-movable with respect to neighboring blocks in a direction to become far from or close to the neighboring blocks.

A mobile terminal includes a main body case, a user input unit configured to detect an input of a control command in a manner that one side of the user input unit is arranged to a side of the main body case and a controller configured to control according to the control command detected by the user input unit. The user input unit includes a rotatable input unit housing combined with the side of the main body case, a rotation detection unit configured to detect a rotation of the input unit housing and deliver a rotation input to the controller and a camera module mounted on the input unit housing. The mobile terminal can expand an input function using a stem button.
