In this invention a watch case is attached to a support by means of an arrangement permitting separation of the case from its support whenever desired. To this effect the case includes a projection in the form of a bracket the riser of which is fastened to the case and the cross member is hollowed out to provide a spherical housing extended by two holes the diameters of which are less than that of the spherical housing. The frontal face of the cross member is provided with a slot. The support is equipped with a stem terminating in a ball. The ball is dimensioned in order that it may be forced into the spherical housing within which it may move freely with a slight amount of play. This attaching system enables coupling a pocket watch to a chain as well as a watch to a display support.

The support of this invention includes a pellet of rigid plastic material. The pellet has two opposed faces one of which bears a coupling means, the other being covered by a layer of adhesive material with an interposed layer of flexible material. The pellet exhibits grooves defining flexure zones. The support may thus be fastened to non-planar surfaces.

An electronic device comprises three stacked flexible elements, namely an electronic assembly for processing information, a display cell for displaying such information and an electrical power source for powering the electronic assembly. The three elements are mechanically joined and electrically connected to each other by insulating and conductive adhesives. The device can be manufactured in quantity by unwinding strips of the three elements, joining the three strips in a stacked relationship, and separating the individual devices from the composite strip thus formed.
