The foldable sliding wall includes at least a first and a second wall element that are pivotally connected to one another and pivotally held by a first and a second head carriage, which are displaceably supported in a head rail. A first head fitting is mounted at the upper side of the first wall element and is connected to a first shaft, which is supported in a first carriage body of the first head carriage and a second head fitting is mounted at the upper side of the second wall element and is connected to a second shaft, which is supported in a second carriage body of the second head carriage.

The apparatus for driving a divider element which is slidable linearly and/or in curves, comprising a drive assembly guided by two running wheels on a running surface of a rail, the drive assembly having a drive shaft driven by an electric motor and a gearing, the drive shaft being coupled by a toothed gear to a toothed belt connected to the rail, and the drive assembly being connectable by a load shaft to the divider element. The drive assembly having a traveling assembly unit with a traveling assembly body having a head piece detachably connected to a drive unit, wherein the electric motor, and the gearing are arranged such that the drive shaft emerges vertically upward from the drive assembly so as to enable the toothed gear mounted on the drive shaft to engage the toothed belt retained above the running surface of the rail.

Drive apparatus for a slidable divider element, drive assembly and divider element

The device has at least one controllable divider element including a drive assembly guided within a track, the drive assembly being driven by an electric motor which is controllable by a central control unit and a local control unit, which units exchange data through an electric line located in the track and functioning as the power supply for the electric motor. According to the invention, a first direct voltage is provided in the central control unit, the voltage being connectable to the power supply line through a central switch which is actuated as a function of the data to be transmitted between the central and local control units, whereby, when the switch is opened, data are able to be transmitted from the local control unit to the central control unit. In addition, an especially advantageous initialization of the device is possible based on the method according to the invention.

Device with controllable divider elements and control method

A male die shaft is mounted in a longitudinally movable and rotary manner in a casing. A lever engages on the said shaft. By means of a motor driven cam, the lever is pivoted. By means of a coupling operable by a shift lever and by means of a gear, a tensioning wheel is motor-driven for tensioning the strip. The male die shaft is held in the raised position by a stop member operated by a stop lever. The shift lever and the stop lever are part of a control mechanism pivotably mounted on a shaft and which is operated by a feeler lever. As a result, the coupling and stop member are released and the male die shaft is lowered onto the strip ends. By means of a lever driven by a cam, male die shaft performs a pivoting movement transmitted via a tooth wheel drive to a shaft which imparts an oppositely directed pivotal movement onto a female die located in the base plate. The movement resulting from the pivoting movement of the strip portions produces the frictional heat necessary for welding purposes. By means of the common control mechanism and the non-couplable male die shaft a simple construction of the apparatus is obtained.
