A spacer for insulated glass units includes a main body co-extruded from first and second plastics, the second plastic having lower thermal conductivity and higher flexibility than the first plastic. The main body includes first and second side walls arranged parallel to each other, a glazing interior wall connecting to the side walls, an outer wall, which is arranged substantially parallel to the glazing interior wall and connects the side walls to one another directly or via connecting walls, and a cavity, which is enclosed by the side walls, the glazing interior wall, and the outer wall or by the side walls, the glazing interior wall, the outer wall, and the connecting walls. The main body is designed as a hollow profile formed from the second plastic, in which hollow profile the first plastic is arranged, at least in some regions, on the inside directly adjacent the hollow profile.

Spacer for insulated glass units

A method for producing a coated and printed glass panel, includes providing a glass substrate having a metal-containing coating on at least one first surface and a polymeric protective layer arranged on this metal-containing coating, removing the temporary polymeric protective layer and the metal-containing coating only in a predetermined region, applying a ceramic ink in the predetermined region, wherein the removing is carried out with a laser and the polymeric protective layer and the metal-containing coating are intact outside the predetermined region after the removing.

Method for producing a printed, coated panel

A method for producing a coated and printed glass panel, includes a) providing a glass substrate having a metal-containing coating on a first surface and a polymeric protective layer with a thickness d arranged on this metal-containing coating, b) removing the polymeric protective layer in a first region using a carbon dioxide laser, c) removing the metal-containing coating within the first region only in a second region using a solid-state laser such that an edge region is created, in which the metal-containing coating is intact and in which the polymeric protective layer was removed in step b), d) applying a ceramic ink only in the first region, e) heat treating the glass panel at &#x3e;600&#xb0; C., wherein the polymeric protective layer is removed on the entire first surface, in the edge region, the metal-containing coating is dissolved by the ceramic ink lying above it, and the ceramic ink is fired.

An insulating glazing includes at least one first pane element, at least one spacer, and at least one connector. The spacer and the connector are arranged next to each other such that they extend along a common longitudinal axis, wherein the spacer and the connector accommodate and position the first pane element. The connector has at least one first electrically conductive conductor element such that an electrical connection can be established between an external power source and the first pane element via the first conductor element.

Insulating glazing and window

An insulating glazing, in particular a triple glazing or a multiple glazing, with at least one first pane element, at least one spacer, and at least one connector, wherein the spacer and the connector are arranged next to each other such that they extend along a common longitudinal axis, wherein the spacer and the connector accommodate and position the first pane element. An electrically conductive coupling element is provided in the receiving groove of the connector such that an electrical coupling can be established between the connector and the first pane element for electrically connecting an external power source to the first pane element.

Spacer for insulating glazings comprising an integrated ribbon cable

An insulating glass element suitable for a refrigeration cabinet. The insulating glass element includes a first pane and a second pane spaced at a distance from the first pane. The first pane has two opposite parallel horizontal edges and two opposite parallel vertical edges. The second pane has two opposite parallel horizontal edges and two opposite parallel vertical edges. According to one aspect, two horizontal spacers are arranged between the first pane and the second pane. According to another aspect, two vertically arranged flat profiles are secured to the vertical edges of the first pane and to the vertical edges of the second pane. According to yet another aspect, the spacers and the flat profiles enclose an inner interpane space between the first pane and the second pane, and one of the two flat profiles is transparent.

Insulating glass element for a refrigeration cabinet

A glazing includes a laminated glazed element including an exterior glass sheet, an interior glass sheet, and at least one plastic interlayer sheet situated between the glass sheets, and, along at least part of at least one edge, a profile section including a functional part provided with a groove and a fixing part for fixing it to the glazed element. The fixing part includes an interlayer flange which, viewed in cross section, is situated between the interlayer face of the exterior glass sheet and the interlayer face of the interior glass sheet; of the interior face and the exterior face of the interlayer flange at least one face being in contact with the plastic interlayer sheet.

Glazing with inbuilt profile section

A spacer for multipane insulating glazing units includes a polymeric main body having two pane contact surfaces running parallel to one another, a glazing interior surface and, an adhesive bonding surface. The pane contact surfaces, and the adhesive bonding surface are connected directly or via connection surfaces. The spacer also includes an insulation film, which is applied on the adhesive bonding surface.

Spacer for insulating glazing units

An alarm pane assembly is presented. The alarm pane assembly includes a pane made of tempered glass, a transparent, electrically conductive coating that is arranged on a surface of the pane, a sensor unit, and an antenna. According to one aspect, the sensor unit includes a transmitting unit and an evaluation unit. During operation, the transmitting unit forwards a high-frequency voltage signal with a frequency f in a range of 0.1 GHz to 6 GHz to the antenna, the antenna emits electromagnetic radiation of the frequency f, and the evaluation unit measures the impedance matching of the transmitting unit to the antenna. According to another aspect, the antenna is electromagnetically coupled to the conductive coating, and the sensor unit outputs an alarm signal when the measured impedance matching deviates from a reference value.

Alarm pane assembly

An alarm pane assembly is presented. The assembly includes a pane made of tempered glass, a transparent, electrically conductive coating arranged on a surface of the pane, a sensor unit, and an antenna. According to one aspect, the sensor unit includes a transmitting unit and an evaluation unit. During operation, the transmitting unit forwards a high-frequency voltage signal with a frequency f in a range of 0.1 GHz to 6 GHz to the antenna, the antenna emits electromagnetic radiation of the frequency f, the evaluation unit measures the impedance matching of the transmitting unit to the antenna, and the sensor unit outputs an alarm signal when the measured impedance matching deviates from a reference value. According to another aspect, the transparent, electrically conductive coating has a region with at least one coating-free pattern that overlaps the area of the orthogonal projection of the antenna onto the transparent, electrically conductive coating.

A corner assembly including two insulated glass elements is presented. The two insulated glass elements are abutted against each other at an angle. Each of the two insulated glass elements include at least two panes. According to one aspect, the at least two panes are joined to each other using a spacer profile under formation of an interpane space. According to another aspect, the at least two panes are arranged parallel to each other. In yet another aspect, the at least two panes have, on their end region, mitered abutment ends, the mitered abutment ends being joined to each other via a film. The film is provided for joining the insulated glass elements using an adhesive means.

Corner assembly for insulated glass elements having films adhesively joined in an edge-flush manner

An insulating glass unit suitable for a refrigeration unit is presented. The insulating glass unit includes a first pane, a second pane spaced at a distance from the first pane, a peripheral spacer frame between the first pane and the second pane, and an inner interpane space. According to one aspect, the spacer frame includes four hollow-profile polymeric spacers, which are secured between the first pane and the second pane along one of the four sides of the insulating glass. According to another aspect, the two first hollow-profile polymeric spacers are arranged along two opposing first sides of the insulating glass unit and the two second hollow-profile polymeric spacers are arranged along two opposing second sides of the insulating glass unit. According to yet another aspect, the first polymeric hollow-profile spacers contain 5% to 50% and the second polymeric hollow-profile spacers contain 0% to 0.5% reinforcement fibers.

Insulating glass unit for a refrigeration unit

A method for producing a triple insulating glazing unit is presented. According to the method, one pane is inserted into a groove of a spacer that is peripherally shaped to form a spacer frame to enframe the pane. A first pane and a second pane are connected to corresponding contact surfaces of the spacer frame by way of an upper edge and lateral edges of the first and second panes. Lower edges of the first and second panes are bent outward. Formed interpane spaces are filled from below with a protective gas, and the arrangement of the panes and the spacer frame is sealed and pressed together.

Method and device for producing a triple insulating glazing unit

An insulating glazing unit having a first pane, a second pane, an outer pane interspace, an inner pane interspace, and a spacer is described. The spacer has a glazing interior surface, a first pane contact surface, and a second pane contact surface, a plastic profile, a primary sealing means, and a main member. The main member contains a sealing material containing a drying material. The plastic profile separates the outer pane interspace from the inner pane interspace. The main member is arranged in the outer pane interspace adjacent the plastic profile and the primary sealing means is arranged in the outer pane interspace adjacent the main member.
