A cartoning machine system for cartoning medical products, comprising a product input module for introducing a product into the cartoning machine system; a product processing module, wherein the product processing module receives at least one product from the product input module and wherein the product processing module is configured to process the at least one product, a product cartoning module configured to carton the at least one processed product to obtain at least one cartoned processed product; and a product information module configured to print a code on the product and/or the at least one processed product; and wherein the cartoning machine system is without a package insert inserting module for inserting a package insert to the at least one cartoned processed product.

Cartoning machine system and method for cartoning a product

In a sealing machine a pair of juxtaposed foils are sealed together at web regions having oppositely directed outer surfaces between a pair of dies, at least one of which is formed with an array of bumps that taper outwardly toward a respective one of the outer surfaces. The bumps press into the one outer surface and form therein permanent cavities of a predetermined imprint depth so as to bond together the foils at the web region. A quality of seal is determined by measuring after formation of the cavities surface features of the cavities at a level of the one outer surface of the respective foil, and calculating based on the measured surface features an imprint depth of the cavity.

Quality-control method for laminated-foil packaging system

A method for process control and documentation in a boxing machine for individual packages each having an individual package transponder and wherein the individual packages are stacked and the box is provided with a transponder as well. A writing unit writes information with respect to the individual packages to the respective individual package transponders and a reading unit for the transponders serves to control subsequent packaging operations. The operations are also documented on the box transponder.
