A fuse unit for use in e.g. motor vehicles, includes an electrically conductive busbar and a plurality of connections for individual power consuming components which are connected to the busbar directly or by way of interposed fusible links so as to be electrically conductive. The busbar has a contact blade adapted to plug into a mating connector of a power supply without the interposition of a further connection between them.

An aligning device for a headlight in a vehicle body of a motor vehicle has an adjusting element which is arranged between the vehicle body and a carrying part of the headlight. The adjusting element comprises an elastic ring clamped in between holding parts by way of an adjusting screw, which elastic ring is supported in a ring sleeve of the carrying part, and the adjusting screw is held on the vehicle body in a threaded nut.

Aligning device for a headlight

Vehicle window panes for a convertible including a door window pane and a rear window pane which adjoin one another at a joint pane boundary line. When the door window pane is closed, the rear window pane may be in the open or closed end position and, when the door window pane is partially or completely lowered, the rear window pane is in an open position in every case.

A fixable electric plug connection and a process for fixing an electric plug connection includes two housings which are fitted into one another and which carry corresponding socket and plug contacts. One of the two housings is provided with a surrounding groove which can be locked with a surrounding ridge, for example, in the interior of a stop bolt in order to fix the housing. This provides a space-saving arrangement of the plug connection. The ridge, which is required for the locking of the plug connection, exists in any event as a result of the machining tool operation such that the locking is implemented with simple and low-cost measures.

In order to visually indicate the readiness of a vehicle alarm system or the locked condition of a vehicle door, an electro-optical indicating element is inserted into the locking button of a vehicle locking system. The light-emitting diode, during the pulse operation, is operated with a no-pulse period which is relatively long in comparison to the flashing pulse.

A helicopter equipped with a reciprocating piston internal combustion engine in which an override clutch is arranged in a drive connection between the internal combustion engine and a rotor drive, is equipped with separate first and second electric motor starter devices (screw-push starters). A starter operation takes place in two phases whereby in a first phase initially the rotor drive is brought to a rotor synchronous rotational speed syn by means of the first starter device and in a second phase the internal combustion engine is started by means of the second starter device. When the internal combustion engine exceeds the idling rotational speed nl, the override clutch establishes the power-flow connection between the internal combustion engine and the rotor drive. Both phases can be carried out manually as also by a partly automatic or fully automatic control system on the basis of key depression.

Starter arrangement for a helicopter

A connecting system is disclosed for electric connector sockets. These sockets comprise, in a recess of an insulating housing, a supported contact member, the electric conductor elements of which are connectible to a further electric conductor element of a plug inserted from the outside. Several insulating housings can be releasably plugged together into a unit by way of detent means. The detent means of each housing serve simultaneously for fixing the connector socket in the adjoining housing.

Connecting system for electrical jacks

A circuit for testing fuses, especially those of the so-called 'little fuse' type, is accommodated in the housing of an electrical component which belongs to a central current distribution system, especially to a central electric system of a vehicle. A simple test arrangement for such fuses is created therewith, whereby this arrangement can be manufactured in a simple and cost-favorable manner and requires no additional space.

A vehicle includes a sun-roof having a roof aperture closable by a hatch, wherein the hatch is movable by means of a power operated device between a canted position and a closed position and, in the closed position, is selectively lockable or unlockable. In the unlocked position of the device, the hatch can be removed. In order to enhance comfort in operating the device and in order to securely hold the hatch in position in all operating conditions, an electric motor cooperating with transmitting elements is provided for operating the device, this motor being actuatable by means of a manually operable switch and, in dependence on the ignition lock position, by position switches, a hatch sensor switch, and by the vehicle speed.

A fuel injection system for a multi-cylinder aircraft engine in which, in order to secure the fuel supply, a pressure-measuring device is connected to the feed line leading from the fuel tank to the fuel quantity distributor, into which are installed two parallel fuel pumps and a fuel filter; this pressure-measuring device in case of a predetermined pressure drop switches on the fuel pump which previously was not in operation; in case of an excessive pressure difference at the fuel filter which is measured by pressure-measuring device upstream and downstream of the filter, an electromagnetic valve installed into a bypass line to the fuel filter is opened; the soiling degree of the fuel filter is indicated by a hydraulically actuated difference pressure-measuring device with pressure limitation.

Fuel injection installation for a multi-cylinder aircraft engine

Electrical circuit for swingable headlights of a motor vehicle including an electric motor for positioning the headlights and a multi-step switch for initiating the movements of the motor for positioning the headlights. The circuit also includes a contact-disk device coupled to the electric motor for controlling the end positions of the headlights, and first and second relays connected to the multi-step switch. The multi-step switch is provided with at least two step positions whereby the second relay is energized in dependence upon at least one of the step positions of the multi-step switch and by a voltage drop, the motor being driven in response to the energization of the second relay.
