A brake disk for a motor vehicle includes a friction ring and at least one insert portion. The insert portion is located within and arranged coaxially with the friction ring, and is configured so as to possess an annular disk shape and define a plurality of openings. The friction ring is configured such that material of the friction ring fills the plurality of openings.

A brake disk includes a disk chamber and a one-piece component made up of a friction ring having connecting links, a supporting ring and extensions developed on the supporting ring. In order to prevent cracking caused by tensile stresses, which may occur during the temperature increase in response to braking, recesses are developed at the transition between the supporting ring and the disk chamber.

A brake disk is described that has a friction ring and a disk chamber connected to the friction ring via connecting links. Bores, into which the connecting links are inserted, are formed in the circumference of the friction ring. The connecting links are calibrated using a die before being inserted into the bore. A calibration ball is introduced into the bore with the aid of which the wall of the bore is calibrated when the connecting link is inserted.

A brake disk is described that has a friction ring and a disk pot that is connected to the friction ring via connecting elements. On the webs of the friction ring, bearer webs are fashioned into which the connecting elements extend. In addition, the bearer webs are fashioned in such a way that cooling air can flow around them.
