An air filter element for an air filter may include a first end plate and a second end plate spaced apart from each other in an axial direction and configured to bound the filter element in the axial direction. The first filter body may be arranged axially between the first and second end plates. A second filter body may be arranged axially between the first and second end plates. An intermediate plate may be arranged axially between the first and second filter bodies and have an intermediate plate area enclosed by an intermediate outer contour and a first end plate area enclosed by a first outer contour.

Air filter element

A filter element having a longitudinal center axis for a fresh air system of an internal combustion engine may include a first plate filter body composed of a pleated filter material and a separate second plate filter body composed of a pleated filter material. The filter element may include first wall body and a second wall body, and a first end body and a second end body. The first wall body, the second wall body, the first end body and the second end body may be connected to the first plate body and the second plate filter body to define an inner space. At least one of the first plate filter body and the second plate filter body may include a curvature projecting to the interior space in a profile extending transversely to a longitudinal direction with respect to the longitudinal center axis.

Filter element

A filter element for at least one of a fresh air system and a ventilation and/or air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle may include a filter body including a folded filter material that laterally surrounds an internal space. A first end plate and a second end plate may be sealingly attached to the filter body at sides that are facing away from one another. A front plate may be arranged in a lateral region of the filter body. The front plate may include a first end plate joining region and a second end plate joining region facing the first end plate and the second end plate. The first and second end plate joining regions may be fused with a front-side end of the first and second end plates.

A filter arrangement may include a housing having an untreated space inlet and a clean space outlet and a filter insert configured to attached to the clean space outlet in the housing and to separate a clean space in the interior of the filter insert from an untreated space outside the filter insert. A lining part may be arranged on the filter insert at the clean space, wherein the lining part is configured to form a collection space for dirt retained by the filter wall in the vicinity of the clean space outlet.

Filter arrangment, in particular air filter arrangement

A multi-layered filter web having at least one at least one filter layer bonded to at least one additional filter layer. The filter layers are bonded together by at least one of ultrasonically and matted. The bonding is in at least one of at least one knurled edge region and in at least one matting region.

Multi-layered filter web

The invention relates to a gas filter insert (), particularly an air filter insert for a fresh air system of an internal combustion engine, having a filter body () which extends in its longitudinal direction () in a U-shape around an inner chamber (), and having a connector () which communicates with the inner chamber () and is arranged on the filter body on the open end-face side () thereof. In order to simplify the construction of the filter insert (), the filter body () is sealed transversally to its longitudinal direction (), with an end plate () on at least one end side ().

Gas filter insert

A plate-shaped filter insert for, in particular, a gas filter with a seal which projects outward on a first of two opposite plate surfaces should be simple and inexpensive to produce with good durability. For this purpose, such a filter insert has the following features: &#x2014;the filter material () is designed as a web material folded in a zigzag shape, each of whose folds on the top side are sealed by a first sealant strip (), &#x2014;the first sealant strips () each project bent outward at one of the two opposite upper plate sides formed by the backs of the folds, &#x2014;at the end folds lying in longitudinal direction of the web material, a second sealant strip () running transverse to this longitudinal direction is attached, &#x2014;the second sealant strips () are each bonded tightly to the first sealant strips (), &#x2014;a circumferential sealant material () is applied to the first and second sealant strips () bonded tightly to one another.

Plate-shaped filter insert

Disclosed is a filter element () comprising a cylindrical, porous, longitudinally penetrated filter material core () and a frame () that tightly surrounds one end of the core in a radial direction and is provided with scaling and holding means via which the filter element () can be removably and tightly inserted into a filter housing (). In order to be able to produce said filter element () efficiently, embody the same so as to make it easy to handle, and mount the same in a dividable filter housing so as to make it easy to replace, such a filter element is characterized by the following features:&#x2014;the frame () encompasses a first annular groove () that is open towards the filter material core ();&#x2014;said first annular groove () is entirely filled with a foamed filling material ();&#x2014;the foamed filling material is produced from a liquid which is filled for foaming purposes into the first annular groove () resting against the filter material core () through an inlet () that is located in the first annular groove ().

Filter element and filter housing suitable for accommodation the same

A method for sealing the cut edges which result when filter material is cut from a zigzag-shaped starting material is provided. The filter material area situated within an outer casing is at least partly interspersed with fine particles which are present therein in an unbound state. A cutter blade separates the filter material, which during the cutting process rests against an anvil, by exerting pressure which acts approximately perpendicularly on the material to be separated. According to the method, the severance cut takes place in an area which shortly prior to carrying out the severance cut has been impregnated with a liquid which is solidifiable under pressure.

Method for sealing the cut edges of web-shaped filter material

A ring-shaped filter element through which material can flow radially. Web material as is provided filter material which is folded in a zigzag shape and sealingly connected at its longitudinal sides relative to a ring-shaped end plate. The end plate is formed of a first area made of a first material, and extends peripherally and not covering a radial inner and/or outer edge area. A second area forms this edge area and is designed for a seal-tight placement onto a connecting part, of a second material. The ring-shaped filter element contains a second area having a second material which is foamed simultaneously onto the web material of the first material already connected fixedly with the web material.

A device for an arrangement inside a fuel tank, provided with pumps and filters for supplying and filtering fuel that is fed to an internal combustion engine, whereby the fuel is conveyed from the bottom area of the tank through a first filter into a collector chamber and fuel is conveyed from said collector chamber by means of a second pump through a second filter to the internal combustion chamber. Both pumps are arranged in a pump unit. The collector chamber is arranged vertically above the pump unit and the filter with respect to the fitting position of the device and is embodied as an open overflow container, whereby the inventive device can be produced in a rational manner and offers good functionality.

Device for an arrangement inside a fuel tank for supplying and filtering fuel

The invention relates to a plate filter element for an air filter comprising a zigzag-shaped, folded strip material made of an activated carbon nonwoven material. The aim of the invention is to improve the dimensional stability of the activated carbon nonwoven material, especially in the area of an end fold. To this end, the invention provides that an end fold of the strip material comprises a sealing which is formed by gluing or fusing an upper side with an underside of the activated carbon nonwoven material.

Plate filter element for an air filter

The invention relates to a filter, especially an oil filter, comprising a carrier casing which borders a clean room/chamber. The filter also has a filter element which encloses the carrier casing. The filter element is comprised of zigzag shaped folded strip material, whereby the end folds of the filter element are adjacently held together. In order to construct the filter in such a way that a mass-production with a high operational reliability is guaranteed, a clamping strip which fastens the end folds of the filter element is arranged on the exterior surface of the carrier casing.
