An electrical machine for a vehicle may include a rotor, a stator, a coolant distributor chamber and a coolant collector chamber. The rotor may be configured to be rotated about an axis of rotation defining an axial direction of the electrical machine. The stator may include a plurality of stator windings. The coolant collector chamber may be axially arranged at a distance from the coolant distributor chamber. The coolant distributor chamber may be configured to communicate fluidically with the coolant collector chamber by at least one cooling channel through which a coolant can flow. At least one of the stator windings may be embedded in at least one plastic mass consisting of an electrically insulating plastic for thermal coupling to the coolant. At least one of the coolant distributor chamber and the coolant collector chamber may be arranged at least partially in the at least one plastic mass.

Electrical machine

An electric machine includes a rotor, rotatable about an axis of rotation defining an axial direction, and a stator having stator windings, a coolant distribution chamber and a coolant collection chamber arranged axially at a distance thereto. The coolant distribution chamber fluidically communicates with the coolant collection chamber with a cooling channel through which a coolant can flow. The cooling channel and the stator winding are embedded in a plastic mass made of a plastic for thermal coupling to the coolant. The stator has stator teeth extending along the axial direction and spaced apart from one another along a circumferential direction and carrying the stator windings. The plastic mass is arranged together with the cooling channel and the stator winding in an intermediate space formed between two stator teeth arranged adjacent in the circumferential direction and sections of cooling channel are configured as a tube body within the intermediate space.

Electric machine for a vehicle

An electrical machine may include a comprise a rotor, a stator, a coolant distributor chamber and a coolant collector chamber. The rotor may be rotated about an axis of rotation that defines an axial direction of the electrical machine. The stator may comprise a plurality of stator windings. The coolant collector chamber may be axially arranged at a distance from the coolant distributor chamber. The coolant distributor chamber may communicate fluidically with the coolant collector chamber by way of least one cooling channel through which a coolant can flow. The at least one cooling channel and the at least one stator winding may be embedded in a plastic mass consisting of an electrically insulating plastic for thermal coupling to the coolant.

An electric machine, for example for a motor vehicle, is disclosed. The electric machine includes a rotor rotatable about an axis of rotation that defines an axial direction of the electric machine, and a stator including stator windings. A coolant distributor chamber and a coolant collector chamber are provided, and arranged with an axial spacing to one another. The coolant distributor chamber fluidically communicates with the coolant collector chamber for cooling the stator windings via at least one cooling channel that can be flowed through by a coolant. At least one of the stator windings is embedded into a plastics compound composed of an electrically insulating plastic for thermal coupling.

An electrical machine may include a rotor rotatable about an axis of rotation which defines an axial direction, a stator including a plurality of stator windings, a coolant collector chamber, and a coolant distributor chamber fluidically communicating with the coolant collector chamber via at least one cooling duct. At least one stator winding may be embedded into a plastic compound composed of an electrically insulating plastic. The stator may further include a stator body having a space. The at least one cooling duct may be arranged in the stator body and may be at least partially defined by at least one aperture disposed in the stator body through which the coolant is flowable. The at least one aperture may open towards the space and may be closed in a fluid-tight manner via the plastic compound.

An electrical machine for a vehicle includes a rotor, which can be rotated about an axis of rotation, by which an axial direction of the electrical machine is defined, a stator with stator windings; and a cooling channel, or a plurality of cooling channels, through which a coolant flows. The stator has stator teeth, which extend along the axial direction and are spaced apart from each other along a circumferential direction and which bear the stator windings. At least one stator winding is embedded in an electrically insulating plastic for thermal coupling, the electrically insulating plastic is arranged, together with the at least one stator winding, in an intermediate space, which is formed between two stator teeth adjacent in the circumferential direction, and the electrically insulating plastic is formed by a first plastic mass of a first plastic material and a second plastic mass of a second plastic material.

A waste heat utilization system for an electric vehicle having an electric motor and a battery may include a first cooling circuit in which a first coolant circulates and having arranged therein the electric motor, a first direct heat exchanger for discharging heat from the first coolant into surroundings of the system, and a first delivery device for driving the first coolant. The system may also include a second cooling circuit in which a second coolant circulates and having arranged therein the battery and a second delivery device for driving the second coolant. The system may also include an air conditioning circuit in which a working medium circulates, and having arranged therein a compressor, condenser, and evaporator. The system may further include first and second chillers by which heat may be transferrable from the first and second cooling circuits into the air conditioning circuit, and first and second heat exchangers incorporated in one of the first and second cooling circuits for discharging heat into the surroundings.

Waste heat utilization system for an electric vehicle

An electrically drivable valve for controlling volumetric flows in a heating and/or cooling system of a motor vehicle, including a housing, from which at least two channels, preferable an inlet channel and an outlet channel, branch off, wherein a disk-shaped valve body is arranged in the housing, which valve body can be rotated about an axis of a drive shaft and has a control contour. For a valve that is simple to produce in regard to the design of the valve, the single control contour of the valve body controls a bypass circuit and a cooler circuit of the heating and/or cooling system.

A waste heat utilization system may include an air conditioning circuit for air conditioning a vehicle interior of the electric vehicle, wherein a working medium may circulate in the air conditioning circuit, which may have arranged therein a compressor for compressing the working medium, a condenser for condensing the working medium, and an evaporator for evaporating the working medium. The system may also include a cooling circuit for cooling at least one of the electric motor and the battery, wherein a coolant may circulate in the cooling circuit, which may have arranged therein the electric motor in a first branch and the battery in a second branch fluidically connected in parallel with the first branch, a first heat exchanger for discharging heat from the coolant into surroundings of the waste heat utilization system, a first delivery device for driving the coolant in the cooling circuit, a first chiller via which heat may be transferrable from the first branch into the air conditioning circuit, and a second chiller via which heat may be transferrable from the second branch into the air conditioning circuit. The system may further include a heating circuit, in which a heating medium circulates, and in which a second delivery device for driving the heating medium and a second heat exchanger for giving off heat from the heating medium into the vehicle interior may be arranged. The condense may be an indirect heat exchanger via which heat is transferrable from the air conditioning circuit into the heating circuit.

A heat exchanger, in particular a charge air cooler or an exhaust gas cooler for an internal combustion engine, comprising a plurality of essentially parallel tubes and at least one collector box on the output side, the tubes each emptying into the collector box on the output side, and a gas flow flowing from the tubes into the collector box and from the collector box into an outlet of the collector box, a structure for interacting with the gas flow being provided at least one of the tubes or collector box, a condensation being transported to the outlet with the aid of the structure.

Heat exchanger

A heat exchanger, particularly an exhaust gas heat exchanger, for transferring heat in two stages between a first fluid and second and third fluids that have different temperatures includes a block for separately conducting the first and second and third fluids in a heat transferring manner. The block encompasses a number of ducts through which the first fluid can flow, a first chamber of a high-temperature part through which the second fluid can flow and which accommodates the ducts, a second chamber of a low-temperature part through which the third fluid flows and which accommodates the ducts, and a housing in which the first and second chamber as well as the ducts are arranged. The first chamber and the second chamber are separated from one another by a separation area that is mounted in a groove.

Heat exchanger, exhaust gas recirculation system, and use of a heat exchanger

An exhaust gas recirculation system is provided that includes an internal combustion engine, which is supplied with exhaust gas, diverted at a removal point and returned via a return point and/or charge air, having a heat exchanger arranged between the removal point and the return point, for the returned exhaust gas and/or the charge air, and having an exhaust gas recirculation valve, by means of which the amount of returned exhaust gas and/or charge air can be regulated. To provide an exhaust gas recirculation system, which has a simple structure and can be manufactured cost-effectively, the exhaust gas recirculation valve is connectable between the removal point and the heat exchanger.

Exhaust gas recirculation system

A device for exhaust gas recirculation for a combustion engine is provided that includes an exhaust gas pipe configured to conduct exhaust gas and a channel configured to conduct air to the combustion engine. The exhaust gas pipe terminates in the channel, wherein the exhaust gas pipe, in an area of insertion in the channel exhaust, is in thermal exchange with a coolant from a coolant circuit.
