The present invention relates to a device containing a tube for a varied flow, comprising a tube being fixed in both its ends, whereby the tube is arranged to be stretched or shortened by longing or shortening of the distance between said attachment points.

Device for controlling the flow of liquid using a tube

Pressure infusion apparatus ( ) of the type that includes a chamber ( ) for at least one infusion bag ( ). In the chamber a pressure apparatus ( ) applies pressure on the infusion bag to press out infusion liquid through an infusion tube ( ). The pressure apparatus ( ) includes a pneumatic pressure chamber ( ) and a pressure source ( ). Between the pressure storage chamber ( ) and the pressure source ( ) there is a pressure reduction valve ( ) that significantly reduces the pressure in the pressure source ( ) relative to the maximum loading pressure in the pressure storage chamber ( ). The pressure source ( ) includes an essentially unstretchable, air tight, flexible membrane ( ) which divides the chamber ( ) into an infusion chamber and a pressure chamber ( ) and which presses directly on the bag ( ). At least one flow regulating valve ( ) giving a calibrated flow per unit time is attached to the infusion tube ( ) or its extension from the infusion bag ( ).

Pressure infusion apparatus

The present invention relates to a suction pump, preferably for suction drainage or body cavities with regard to accumulated liquid after a surgical incision made, and comprising an expandable, flexible container, whereby two substantially symmetric lid parts are attached to each other, comprising at least one rigid ring (1,13) and a flexible casing (8), an expandable spring (12) arranged between said casings (8) of the lid parts, an inlet opening (2,6) provided with a membrane valve (7) and an outlet opening (3) to which an one-way valve is arranged to be connected to provide for an one-way current out off the pump of air and/or liquid.

Suction pump

A surgical trocar comprising a flattened oblong unit having at the front end an angled sharpened cutting edge, and at the rear end a device for removably attaching a tube for drainage or other purposes. The trocar's cutting edge produces fissure-shaped skin incisions which heal more easily than circular wounds, and the trocar's flattened shape reduces the risk of slippage and attendant damages to the patient and/or surgeon's hand from such slippage.

The present invention relates to a catheter intended for postsurgical drainage of a wound area after a surgical incision and particularly such a catheter which is connected to a wound secretion receiver being provided with a vacuo. The catheter is characterized in that it at its front end is provided with at least one slot (6), which extends along the catheter (1), whereby throughopenings (9) are arranged from the bottom of the slot (6) to a lumen (2) arranged centrally in the catheter (1). Using the present invention no suction-in of tissue into the lumen (2) of the catheter (1) will occur but the catheter can be removed without applying any greater force and without obtaining any trauma in the wound.
