The PDTfiltering element (PDT) and a Cauer filter (C) are employed for use in control tasks of automation engineering, in particular for a filter connected downstream of a rotational speed controller. For tasks in control engineering, these have the advantage of a higher level of robustness, since a large frequency range is filtered, and a substantially smaller phase drop than conventional lowpass filters (PDT). Consequently, by comparison with the known prior art a loss in dynamics is substantially minimized with these phase-saving lowpass filters, and an optimum is achieved in robustness and dynamics.

In a previous process, the influence of roll eccentricities on the output thickness of the rolled material in a roll stand is suppressed by simulating the output signal of an oscillator and supplying this value to a position or thickness control for the roll stand, where the frequency of the output signal is set according to the roll rotation speed. In the process according to the invention, the amplitude and phase of the output signal are set so that the exit thickness of the rolled material is measured with a measuring delay in relation to the thickness reduction in the roll gap. A difference signal is generated from the delayed roll screw-down signal and a measured thickness signal multiplied by the sum of one and the quotient of the rigidity of the rolled material and the roll stand. The output signal of the oscillator is corrected according to the difference between the output signal and the difference signal. The output signal is phase shifted by the amount of measurement delay for a forward slip.

A method for the detection and regulation of a spring moment and a difference speed in rotationally driven systems in which a drive unit can be viewed as an elastically coupled two-mass system. The spring moment and the difference speed are determined without direct measurement of the actual load speed or the load position. This is done by comparison of the actual motor speed influenced by the spring moment and a simulated actual motor speed. The resulting difference speed and spring moment are directly proportional to the actual difference speed and the actual spring moment and can be supplied to the regulating system of the motor for regulating the intrinsic oscillations of the system.

A clock voltage supply for electronic control circuits such as a computer system for generating four clock signals which are synchronous as to frequency and phase. When n=4, the clock signals are generated with the help of four PLL clocks. So that the four clock signals can continue to appear even if one of the four clocks is malfunctioning, the clock signals of the four clocks are supplied to four (3:4) voters from whose outputs the clock signals are then supplied. Since each voter circuit brings about a certain delay time, which significantly limits the frequency of the clock signals, a delay element is connected downstream to each of the voter outputs respectively. The delay time of the respective delay element, plus the delay time of the respective voter connected therewith, is an integral multiple of the period of the intended clock frequency. For PLL control, the output of each delay element gives the nominal phase position and the output of each clock gives the actual phase position.
