A mounting plate for mounting a lifting unit in a lifting column which lifting column includes at least two guide tube segments that are insertable substantially concentrically one-into-another and that are movable with respect to one another along their direction of extension in order to change the length of the lifting column. The mounting plate includes a motor-accommodating structure for a drive motor of the lifting unit and an accommodating structure, different from the motor-accommodating structure, for a support component of the lifting unit that is connectable in a rotationally fixed manner to mounting plate. The support component is disposed on a side of the lifting unit remote from or facing away from the drive motor. Also, a lifting column including the mounting plate.

Rotational drive to linear drive component

An electromechanical actuator includes a drive motor having rotatable drive shaft. A magnetic element is disposed on the drive shaft. A rotary-to-linear motion converter is driven by the rotatable drive shaft and includes a non-rotating actuator body that is linearly movable in a traveling direction. A Hall-effect sensor is disposed in a stationary manner proximal to the magnetic element disposed on the drive shaft. A controller is in electronic communication with the Hall-effect sensor. The controller counts the number of impulses output by the Hall-effect sensor when the drive shaft rotates relative to the Hall-effect sensor, and turns off the drive motor after a predetermined number of impulses have been counted since the start-up of the non-rotating actuator body. The controller may also count the number of times that the current of the drive motor exceeds a predetermined maximum value and store this counted value in a memory element.

Electromagnetic actuator

A lifting column includes first and second lifting column components, one slidably receivable in the other, each having mutually facing guide surfaces. The first lifting column component has first and second openings in its guide surface, and first and second guide components mounted in these openings. Each of the guide components includes an attachment structure that projects into one of the first and second openings and a substantially planar guide section connected to the attachment structure that overlies a guide surface of the first lifting component and that is configured to abut on the guide surface of the second lifting column component. The first and second guide components are configured such that they are in contact with each other when the attachment structures are mounted the openings.

A device for providing an electrical or fluid junction includes a connecting structure such as a plate that it is connectable with an end of a columnar component having a hollow profile, and a junction structure such as a housing that is connected to the connecting structure and that includes at least one opening for providing an electrical or fluid junction for an external plug and a further opening for routing a line from the electrical junction into the columnar component.
