In a feed pump (), guide vanes () fastened on a driven impeller () project into a recess () of a molding () annularly surrounding the impeller (). The guide vanes () are located with a slight clearance opposite the wall of the recess (). The guide vanes () can thereby have a particularly large surface. Moreover, a depositing of dirt in the radially outer region of the impeller () is avoided.

Delivery pump

The invention relates to a pump unit arranged in an inner tank () of a fuel tank, comprising a fuel pump () which is used to pump fuel to the internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle; an ejector pump () which is connected to the fuel pump () and used to pump fuel out of the fuel tank into the inner tank (); and at least one filter element () which is used to filter fuel, wherein a housing part which is connected to the fuel pump () is provided with at least one channel () for guiding said fuel. In order to simplify the structure of the pump unit () and to enable substantial pre-assembly, the housing part () is configured in such a way that it can hold the at least one filter element (), and the channel () is exclusively guided inside the housing part () from the ejector pump () and/or the fuel pump () to the filter element ().

A feed pump designed as a side-channel or peripheral pump has two rings of guide vanes arranged in an impeller and concentrically enclosing one another. The sides of the guide vanes facing the intended direction of rotation of the impeller are inclined at an angle relative to the axis of rotation of the impeller. The angles of the guide vanes in a radially outer ring of guide vanes are larger than the angles of guide vanes in a radially inner ring of guide vanes. This arrangement allows the impeller to be produced in an injection mold in an especially cost-effective manner.
