An injection molding nozzle () for plastic with at least two outlet openings () facing toward different sides and directed oppositely is not constructed as an open injection molding nozzle but has a respective closure needle () in the outlet openings (), and a drive is also provided for displacing the closure needles () at least into the closing position. Thus a cold plug at the end of the outlet openings () facing a mold () can be avoided, independently of whether the closure needles completely close these outlet openings () at their mouth () or still leave a minimum gap.

In an injection mold including at least two mold sections which are movable relative to one another for opening and closing the injection mold and an electronic counter with an actuator and a sensor element supplying, influenced by the actuator, a signal indicative of the number of closings of the injection mold, the sensor element is disposed in a first housing and the electronic counter is disposed outside the first housing and connected to the sensor element via an electrical communication line.
