An electrically drivable valve for controlling volumetric flows in a heating and/or cooling system of a motor vehicle, including a housing, from which at least two channels, preferable an inlet channel and an outlet channel, branch off, wherein a disk-shaped valve body is arranged in the housing, which valve body can be rotated about an axis of a drive shaft and has a control contour. For a valve that is simple to produce in regard to the design of the valve, the single control contour of the valve body controls a bypass circuit and a cooler circuit of the heating and/or cooling system.

Electrically drivable valve for controlling volumetric flows in a heating and/or cooling system of a motor vehicle

An electrically actuated valve may include a housing and a cylindrical valve body mounted rotatably therein. The housing may have at least one casing-side inlet and at least one casing-side outlet. The valve body may have at least one casing-side opening, via which the inlet may be at least one of connectable to the outlet and able to be shut off from the outlet dependent on a rotary angle. A recess extending at least partially around at least one of the inlet and the outlet may be provided on an inner casing face of the housing. At least one sealing element may be provided with a base made from a first material, and a saddle-shaped sealing sliding body made from a second material joined to the first. The sealing element may engage with the base into the recess, and may slide with the sealing sliding body on the valve body.

Electrically actuated valve

A thermostat having a hollow body, wherein the hollow body is at least partly filled with a thermosensitive medium. A heating element is provided for heating the thermosensitive medium. The heating element is located outside of the hollow body and is at least partially insulated electrically from the hollow body. The element is connected to the hollow body in a thermally conductive manner.

A supercharged internal combustion engine may include an exhaust gas turbocharger which is integrated into an exhaust section on the turbine side and into an intake section on the compressor side. An exhaust gas recirculation line may connect the exhaust section and the intake section. The exhaust gas recirculation line may branch off from the exhaust section downstream of a turbine of the exhaust gas turbocharger and opens into the intake section upstream of a compressor. A valve device for performing at least one of open-loop and closed-loop control of an exhaust gas recirculation rate may be arranged in the region of the exhaust gas recirculation line.

Supercharged internal combustion engine

The invention relates to a device for controlling an exhaust gas stream. Said device comprises a housing () with at least a first, second and third connection () that form links to a first, second and third exhaust gas conduit for conducting the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine, a first sliding element () with a displaceable first sliding rod () and a first sealing member () that is located on said rod, a second sliding element () with a displaceable second sliding rod () and a second sealing member () that is located on said rod and an actuator for a force-assisted actuation of the device. According to the invention, a link () can be established between the first and the second connection and can be adjusted by means of the first sealing member () and a link () can be established and adjusted between the first and the third connection by means of the second sealing member (). The device is equipped with a control mechanism () that is connected to the actuator, said mechanism () permitting the first sliding element () and the second sliding element () to be displaced.
