The present invention discloses a method for controlling an electric machine, having an encoder wheel which has a multiplicity of teeth and at least one reference marking, having the steps: detecting the dynamics of the electric machine, detecting the positions of the teeth on the encoder wheel in relation to the at least one reference marking if the electric machine exhibits low dynamics, calculating a rotational speed of the electric machine on the basis of at least the detected positions, and controlling the electric machine on the basis of at least the calculated rotational speed. Furthermore, the present invention discloses a drivetrain and a vehicle.

Method, drive system and vehicle

In a method for starting a synchronous machine, a default torque is predefined, and a rotational speed of the synchronous machine is adjusted after starting. A torque which is higher than the default torque is predefined, and the higher torque is reduced in the subsequent second step to a positive value which is less than the default torque, and is increased to the default torque in a third step.

Method for starting a synchronous machine

Alternator with exciting means arrangement

A synchronous machine, in particular a generator for a vehicle, has an excitation system with a plurality of electrically excited individual poles in a rotor, preferably in form of claw poles excited by at least one common excitation coil, in which for compensation of a magnetic stray flux, in the free spaces between the axially oriented claw poles permanent magnets are inserted at the axial ends of the pole plates of the rotor, so that the permanent magnets are supported by a holder against centrifugal forces and held by it, and therefore an especially simple and inexpensive holder is formed which considerably simplifies and facilitates the insertion of the permanent magnets.
