A method for suppressing noises in a dual clutch transmission, which has two partial transmissions and each partial transmission has at least two synchronizers, for a motor vehicle. A respective shaft of the respective partial transmission is to be synchronized by the respective synchronizer with a respective idler, which is arranged on the respective shaft and is associated with the respective synchronizer, of the respective partial transmission. To suppress noises, one of the synchronizers of one of the partial transmissions is actuated, while the one partial transmission is activated, the other partial transmission is deactivated, and the idler which is associated with the other synchronizer of the one partial transmission is connected in a rotationally-fixed manner to the shaft of the one partial transmission.

A drive device for a motor vehicle includes a primary powertrain and a secondary powertrain, wherein the primary powertrain includes a combustion engine for generating a total torque; a torque distribution device coupled to the combustion engine and including a first and a second output, wherein the torque distribution device is designed to provide a first partial torque in mechanical form at its first output derived from the total torque, and to provide a second partial torque in electrical form at its second output derived from the total torque; and a transmission which is coupled to the first output of the torque distribution device; wherein the secondary powertrain includes an electric machine which is coupled to the second output of the torque distribution device; wherein the torque distribution device includes a torque limiting device which is designed to limit the first partial torque to a presettable threshold value.

A rotational speed measuring device for measuring the rotational speed on coaxially arranged drive shafts is described, wherein a first drive shaft is formed as an inner shaft in a second drive shaft embodied as a hollow shaft. The hollow shaft has at least one opening and a rotational speed encoder which is arranged on the inner shaft and can be detected through the opening of the hollow shaft. A rotational speed sensor is arranged on the outer side of the hollow shaft and is configured to pick up the rotational speed on the rotational speed encoder. A corresponding method for measuring the rotational speed on coaxially arranged drive shafts is also disclosed.

According to a method for operating a clutch transmission, especially a dual clutch transmission, which includes a hydraulic circuit having at least one pump for delivering hydraulic medium and at least one pressure accumulator for accommodating and making available a hydraulic medium under pressure, the pump associated with an electric motor is operated depending on a charge requirement of the pressure accumulator. To determine the charge requirement, the pump is driven by the electric motor, and the current consumed by the electric motor in the process is detected to determine the charge requirement.

A clutch transmission, in particular a dual clutch transmission, includes a hydraulic circuit for actuating and/or cooling the clutch transmission. The hydraulic circuit includes at least one cooler for cooling a hydraulic medium conveyed by at least one pump, wherein a bypass with a thermostatic bypass valve is associated with the cooler. The thermostatic bypass valve has hereby three switching positions, wherein it can be moved to a first switching position by a spring force, from the first switching position to the second switching position by a thermal element against the spring force and from the second switching position to a third switching position against the spring force by a pressure difference exceeding a predeterminable limit value.

Drive assembly on a twin-clutch transmission for motor vehicles

A dual clutch transmission, in particular of a motor vehicle, includes a hydraulic circuit for cooling the dual clutch transmission, wherein the hydraulic circuit includes at least one pump for conveying a hydraulic medium flow, at least one cooler for cooling the hydraulic medium flow, and a volume control valve for adjusting the hydraulic medium flow for at least one cooling system associated with clutches of the dual clutch transmission. The volume control valve is designed to convey the hydraulic medium flow in a first switching state to a first cooling system associated with a first of the clutches, and in at least one second switching state to a second cooling system associated with a second of the clutches.

A twin-clutch for a twin-clutch variable speed transmission in motor vehicles includes two wet running multi-disk-clutches which are arranged axially in succession in a transmission housing, wherein end walls of the transmission housing are provided on respective sides of the multi disk clutches, a driving clutch housing; two transmission hubs outputting to transmission input shafts, and alternately drivingly connectable with the clutch housing via clutch disks; ring pistons shiftably supported in the end walls of the transmission housing and hydraulically pressurizeable with pressure oil via ducts arranged in the end walls to thereby cause a shifting of the ring pistons, wherein the ring pistons alternately act on the clutch disks via pressure disks, and wherein the pressure disks are actuatable from outside the clutch housing by the ring pistons; and axial rolling bearings respectively arranged between the ring pistons and the pressure disks.

Twin-clutch for a twin-clutch variable speed transmission in motor vehicles

The invention relates to a device for supplying a hydraulic medium to a rotatably mounted drive element in a transmission case, the hydraulic medium being routed to a channel in the drive element by way of at least one channel in a coaxially adjacent element which corresponds to the drive element. Structurally favorable and reliable supply with hydraulic medium is achieved in that the drive element is nonrotatably connected to the other element and that the contact connection is at least one unthreaded conduit which is inserted tightly into the two channels and which extends directly from the element to the drive element.

Control arrangement for an automatic, electrohydraulically controlled transmission

A change-speed transmission in the power train of a motor vehicle has a planetary gearing and coaxial radially inner and outer disc clutches, namely a direct clutch and a reverse clutch. At least that clutch which is engaged (i.e., in use) is cooled by a lubricant for the planetary gearing, and the flow of coolant to the clutches is regulated by the axially movable pressure plate of one of the clutches. A jet pump conveys lubricant from the sump in the transmission case into an axially extending channel of the input shaft of the transmission, and such channel forms part of a system of passages which supply coolant at least to that clutch which is then in use to transmit torque from the input shaft to an output element of the transmission.
