A device for generating a photometric stereo image and a color image of an object which is moved at a predetermined relative speed relative to the device. The device includes a lighting area and a lighting arrangement which is oriented to the lighting area. The lighting arrangement cyclically emits a lighting sequence in the lighting area. The lighting sequence has at least four lighting pulses each of which have a wavelength range and a lighting direction. At least three of the at least four lighting pulses have a different wavelength range, and at least two of the at least four lighting pulses have a different lighting direction and a same wavelength range.

Device and method for generating photometric stereo images and a color image

An inspection arrangement for fluorescence-based inspection of a product containing at least one fluorophore having an excitation spectrum and an emission spectrum, the inspection arrangement including a radiation source for generating a first electromagnetic radiation in a first wavelength range containing an excitation spectrum and a second electromagnetic radiation in a second wavelength range containing the emission spectrum, an imaging device for generating images of an inspection area in which the product can be arranged, and an image data processing device for image processing of the images. The inspection arrangement captures with the imaging device at least one fluorescence image of the inspection area irradiated with the first electromagnetic radiation and at least one reference image of the inspection area irradiated with the second electromagnetic radiation. The image data processing device generates a correction image based on the at least one fluorescence image and the at least one reference image.

Inspection arrangement and method for fluorescence-based inspection

There is described a method and an arrangement for the metrological detection of the differences in the visually perceived color impression between a multi-color patterned surface () of a reference and a multi-color patterned surface () of a test item. Concomitantly changes in the color statistics and in other color variation rates of the test item compared to a reference, and changes in the picture definition of the pattern of the test item compared to the reference, are determined by means of spatial sensors () provided with color capability, such as color picture cameras and displayed. According to the invention, a common variation rate for the visually perceived color variation of multi-color patterned surfaces with references is established by a combination of the two variations.

Method and system for the metrological detection of differences in the visually perceived color impression between a multicolored patterned surface of a reference and a multicolored patterned surface of a specimen

A method for the optical inspection of a transparent protective layer and a colored patterned surface which is at least partially covered by the transparent protective layer involves providing a source of illumination and an imaging sensor associated with the source of illumination and illuminating the protective layer with light emitted by the source of illumination in order to recognize defective places inside and beneath the transparent protective layer. The source of illumination emits light in the shortwaved range which is at least partially diffuse and the light striking the surface penetrates at least partially into the protective layer and is scattered at the defective places. Light scattered from the defective places is picked up by the imaging sensor and the defective places are recognized by the local increase in the intensity of the light picked up by the imaging sensor in the area of the defective places.
