A clamping means in the type of an outer clamping means or an inner clamping means for fixed-clamping of work pieces, for the purpose of rotative processing. For achieving a radial displaceability of the clamping segments thereof, an inclined guide surface of a clamping sleeve or of a clamping mandrel with correspondingly inclined slide surfaces on the clamping segments are used. For the application of force into the clamping segments, at least one coupling element is provided on the housing or on the actuation member. The clamping element is axially fixed to the housing or to the actuation member and engages with at least one clamping segment axially in a form-fit manner in a coupling region between an in axial direction distal guide surface region of the guide surface and an in axial direction proximal guide surface region of the guide surface.

Clamping device

A clamping device has several clamping element receptacles each with a clamping element held by the clamping element receptacle. The clamping element receptacles have an inclination running obliquely to a clamping direction of the clamping device and by means of which the clamping element is guided. The clamping element has a clamping jaw support and the clamping jaw is connectable to the clamping jaw support. The clamping jaw engages in an undercut provided on the clamping jaw support and is additionally fixed by means of a positive fixing means to the clamping jaw support when it is connected to the clamping jaw support.

A chuck () has a chuck body (), which is provided with three guide devices (), on each of which is received a radially movable clamping holder () for fixing a workpiece to chuck body (), the guide device () being constructed separately from the chuck body (). Guide device () is integrally joined by a polymer concrete filling () to the chuck body () for a force transfer between guide device () and chuck body (). There is no need for a particularly precise manufacture of the outer contour of guide device () and the recess () in chuck body (), because the polymer concrete () is able to compensate tolerances.

A chuck body for a clamping chuck for clamping a workpiece has a substantially rotationally symmetrically formed basic body, provided on which is a receiving opening, which is formed as a portion of a cone and is formed for receiving a clamping head in such a way as to transmit force. Attached to the basic body is a deformation sensor, for example as a strain gauge, which is intended and designed for determining a deformation of the basic body in a circumferential direction. In this way, the condition and state of wear of the clamping chuck can be determined.

A chuck for accommodating a collet chuck, comprising a housing and a chucking tool seat that is assigned to the housing. The chucking tool seat is embedded in the housing as a separate part via an intermediate filling that is made of polymer concrete for connecting the chucking tool seat and the housing. This design has improved properties regarding damping and the total weight while flat sub-areas that are composed of individual guiding plates can additionally be used as clamping areas of the chucking tool seat. Thus a pyramid-type joint is obtained, which could previously be created with the required precision only by using a lot of effort when producing the same from solid material.

A workpiece clamping system with a machine spindle and a clamping chuck has a bayonet lock with projections. The bayonet lock is closed by insertion and turning. The bayonet lock can be clamped or locked, whereby parts of the projections are movable and exert a locking force on the other projections. A bayonet lock can be placed internally or externally on the workpiece clamping system.

An exchange device for grip heads comprising a plurality of clamping jaws, consisting of a carrier plate having a borehole. Pivoting arms are axially staggered in relation to the carrier plate and are concentrically arranged in relation to the borehole. The pivoting arms are articulated by a joint in such a way that they can be pivoted in a plane containing the axis of the borehole. The pivoting movement is thus carried out radially in relation to the axis of the borehole. Coupling elements are arranged on the pivoting arms, by which the exchange device can be coupled to the clamping jaws of the grip head and detached from the same.

Collet chucks () comprise at least two tensioning segments (). Adjacent tensioning segments are connected to each other by way of elastic spacer elements (). The tensioning segments () have back-cuts (), whilst the spacer elements have correspondingly formed sections (). A positive fit of the formed sections in the back-cuts of the tensioning segments () is thus possible.

The invention concerns a clamping device comprising a tensioning spindle whereof one end has a first axially fixed support surface and whereof the other end has a second axially mobile support surface and mobile relative to the first support surface through a clamping element. Between the two support surfaces on the tensioning spindle are one or several elastomer adapter sleeves.

The clamping apparatus (,) has a clamping ring (,) of an elastomer, which has a U-shaped cross section. The clamping ring (,) is seated in a recess (,) in a holding device (,) having parallel side walls. The recess (,) can be connected via a connecting line (,) to a hydraulic or pneumatic pressure source. The outside of the web part (,) of the U-profile acts as a clamping surface (,). Embedded in the area of this clamping surface is a number of clamping elements (,) made of a material of higher strength, in which at least that envelope line which faces away from the clamping surface (,) is exposed. The clamping elements (,) have the same axial extent as the clamping ring (,). One of the side walls of the recess (,) is formed by a clamping part (,), which is part of a clamping device (,) and is guided axially displaceably on the holding device (,) and is sealed off with respect to the latter by means of a circumferential seal element (,). The clamping part (,) is coupled to a power drive (,) which acts in the axial direction. The clamping apparatus (,) is considered both for external clamping and for the internal clamping of a workpiece.

The guiding apparatus (10) is disposed between the feed tube (13) of the turning machine and the guide tube (11) for the rod-shaped workpieces which is aligned therewith. The guiding apparatus (10) has an intermediate tube (12) which reaches from the rear end of the feed tube (13) at least to the guide tube (11). Between the feed tube (12) and the intermediate tube (12) a coupling device (14) is present by means of which the intermediate tube (12) is mounted on the feed tube rotatably and axially undisplaceably. The coupling device (14) is sealed from the outside. Between the guide tube (11) and the intermediate tube (12) a seal (42) with axial displacement possibility is present.
