Discharge device for at least one medium

A first reservoir body ( ) includes two necks ( ). One neck ( ) carries a thrust piston pump ( ) including a medium outlet ( ). The other neck ( ) carries a closed second reservoir body ( ) including a second medium. When the closure ( ) is opened, the second medium is transferred into the first reservoir body ( ) where it is mixed with or dissolved in the first medium. Thereafter, the mixed media can be discharged by the dosing pump ( ) from the first reservoir body ( ) in discrete doses in sequence. Thus, the media are stored separately and are not merged until being discharged.

Media dispenser

The invention relates to an apparatus for the atomized discharge of a liquid medium. The apparatus can be operated with one hand for the discharge of a liquid medium in partial strokes that are successively performed and not unintentionally interrupted. The apparatus has an operating trigger to engage the ram, which operates the piston that is displaceable in the spray cylinder, the operating path of the operating trigger being so limited between an operating starting position and end position that the resulting discharge stroke of the piston may vary for successive partial discharges of the stored medium.

Apparatus for the discharge of an atomized liquid medium in partial strokes of different length

A disposable atomizer for discharging successive partial discharge amounts as a spray has a base body (,), a projecting nose adapter (,) with a nozzle (,), actuating shoulders (,) where two fingers can rest, and an actuating part, containing an actuating sleeve (,) and a medium store (,), which can be pressed into the base body (,). A hollow needle (,) can penetrate the closure piston-stopper (,) of said medium store (,). A ring (,) is mounted on the actuating sleeve (,) by spokes (,) and predetermined breaking points (,), the ring (,) separating in response to typical actuating pressure when the actuator is used the first time. The spokes (,) strike a stop which thus limits the first partial discharge stroke. By rotating the actuating sleeve (,), the actuating part is moved into a starting position for a second partial discharge stroke, and when intermediate webs in the form of material bridges are broken out, the second partial discharge stroke can be executed.

Discharge device for flowable media using a thrust piston pump

A valve (10) such as an outlet valve of a dispenser comprises a valve body (30) movable from the closing rest position in opposite directions to effect two open positions, namely e.g. one for venting a pumping chamber (8) and the other for discharging the liquid medium from this pressure chamber (8). Thereby the valve (10) opening as a function of pressure may also be automatically opened when a relative low pressure is predominant.

Media dispenser having a plurality of flow operating states

In a device (1) suitable for discharging media or the like at least one springly deformable component (5, 6, 11, 40) consists of a copolymer produced with a co-catalyst such as titanocen, more particularly an ethylene .alpha.-olefine copolymer which may also be improved as regards its resiliency by gamma irradiation. In a spiral spring (26, 39, 49) produced from this or a similar plastics material axially adjacent spiral sections are directly integrally connected to each other not only via the spiral but also along the circumference of the spring.

Dispenser for media

A dispenser (1) has a medium outlet (19) oriented transversely to the actuating direction, and guiding surfaces (54) defined by a nozzle body (52) that is configured integrally with the plunger (27). The guiding surfaces (54) are provided between adjoining circumferential surface areas of the piston stem (65) and the discharge head (12), so that no separate, external nozzle cap is required to provide the desired atomizing spray pattern.

A disposable atomizer contains a cylindrical container for a medium to be atomized, particularly a pharmaceutical medium. The container is closed by a rubber plunger plug which has a central opening into which a closure ball is pressed. For discharging the medium, the container is pressed against an actuator which pushes the ball from the opening and thereby opens the container while, at the same time, the actuator forced down from a shoulder forms the plunger of a plunger pump formed thereby.

Discharge device for fluid media, particularly for single-stroke only

A dispenser (1) comprises for its plunger chamber (13) an outlet valve (20) which after opening on the actuating stroke continues to remain open for a time during the subsequent return stroke due to a delay means (30) so as to ensure a more or less complete venting or filling of the plunger chamber (13). At the end of the delay period the closure maintained in the open position position by friction surface areas (37, 38) is released and automatically jumps back into its closed position. After venting, the effectiveness of the delay means (30) diminishes so that in normal operation substantially only a pressure dependent opening and closing of the outlet valve (20) is provided for.
